Affordable, superb, ground floor, self catering holiday apartment in the beautiful village of Bothel, Cumbria. Offering one double bedroom, a cosy and modern lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and everything you need for a holiday. Morning to Evening SUN SPOT on the PEACEFUL Secluded Garden + Patio, OVERLOOKING the NATURAL WATERFALL STREAM, WILDLIFE & often our SHEEP. Garden Cottage @ Catlands Foot Farm near Ireby

Garden Cottage is a lovely converted barn attached to Catlands Foot Farm tucked away on the hillside with views across to the Galloway Hills, Scotland. Just outside the Lake District National Park but within a 30 minute drive of Keswick you get the best of both worlds of exploring the attractions of the Northen Lake District and the Solway Coast with its quaint seaside towns. With plenty of short walks available from the cottage there is a no better place to relax and unwind. Pet friendly.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.

Rose Cottage: Beautiful Lakeland Home in Caldbeck

Rose Cottage is part of an old fulling mill (c. 1669) situated on the River Caldbeck in this peaceful, well served village. This semi detached property has been recently renovated, retaining beautiful period beams & fireplaces. On the Cumbria Way with fells, footpaths, bridleways & cycle routes from the doorstep. Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

We would like to welcome you to our comfortable pet friendly accommodation in the heart of West Cumbria a short distance from Keswick , Penrith and Carlisle. We are situated on the edge of a small community village which boasts a local pub and only a 5 minute drive to the local town with amenities to include shops, cafes and take aways together with a train station. A perfect base for walkers and sightseeing. 2 or more by agreement off road parking spaces are readily available. .

Pet-friendly and cosy converted byre for two

A converted former farmstead byre, Randel features high beamed ceilings open to the eaves, with plenty of natural light from two gable windows, a roof Velux and window out on to the wooded garden. Entrance is directly into the studio accommodation, consisting of a well fitted kitchen, dining facilities for two, and a comfortable compact sitting/sleeping area. Armchairs give way across the room to a wrought iron double-bed. There is a separate shower room with WC and washbasin.

Romantic Lake District Retreat for 2 near Caldbeck

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Upstairs is a mezzanine floor with king size bed, balcony and luxurious shower room

Cedar wood lodge with stunning rural views.

Our cedarwood lodge has been designed and built for our family and friends to use when they visit. It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
