The Penthouse at The Old Cinema

A truly unique 2-floor penthouse apartment situated in the heart of Southwell, benefitting from a completely private and very spacious roof terrace featuring an outdoor sitting area, outdoor TV, BBQ, and a state of the art Hot Tub The vast apartment is furnished to an exceptional standard, plus extremely well equipped, occupying the top two floors of the historic former Cinema. The terrace is finished to an extremely high standard, more like what you would expect to see in a 5-star London hotel suite, the state-of-the-art hot tub allows you views of the cathedral as well as the outdoor TV, the tub is also equipped with mood light and Bluetooth audio.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Available for single night stays. Discounts on 3+ nights bookings.

Self-contained barn conversion in rural village

Converted in 2017 from a small barn (circa 1850), the self-contained studio combines character with tasteful furnishings. TOTAL REFURBISHMENT MAY 2025 with new kitchenette, flooring, carpet, wood panelling. Separate from the main house with security gates and 24 hour CCTV, providing parking, an outdoor seating area and views over the paddock of sheep and free range chickens. Upton is a small village, two miles from Southwell, with country walks and a local pub serving hot food.

Charming self-contained lodge set in a countryside location, minutes from the historical market town Southwell. The Lodge has plenty of character with a large main living area with log burner as well as a courtyard for alfresco dining. Based in the beautiful village of Brinkley with ample country walks right on your doorstep and a variety of lovely pubs nearby. We are dog friendly and welcome dogs at a small charge of £10 per dog per night payable to the host during your stay.

The Barn is a rural retreat tucked away at the end of a quiet leafy lane in Colston Bassett in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Belvoir. Ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, gastro enthusiasts or perhaps those just looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, The Barn is a brand new, hand-crafted home built by the architect owner who lives in The Old Farmhouse next door. We also welcome well behaved dogs (we just request a modest fee of £20 per dog per stay)

Just 20 minutes to Newark where you can get a direct train to London or enjoy a relaxing break. There is also air conditioning

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

Unique static boat moored on the Trent , great for fishing or just relaxing, fantastic views lots lovely walks,The boat is now ready for the winter months heating on log burner ready to go, new kitchenware very cozy ,Christmas almost upon us why not try a stay over Christmas and enjoy the boat decked out. Festive homemade treats in a small hamper including mince pies and mulled wine.

Our newly built, light and spacious holiday home consists of an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area that goes through to the master bedroom. A beautiful bathroom forms an on-suite, adjacent to the bedroom. There is a wardrobe with extra pillows, coat hangers, a washing basket and a safe for your belongings.
