Comfortable retreat for two in the heart of Suffolk. Crabtree Cottage is located in the rural village of Drinkstone, 8 miles from the market town of Bury St. Edmunds, 6 miles from Stowmarket and within easy reach of Newmarket and Cambridge. An ideal area for walking or cycling with plenty of good local pubs. The cottage has its own entrance, sunny sitting room with French doors to garden, kitchen/dining room and stairs to spacious bathroom and double bedroom. The owner has a fox red labrador.

Cocketts Holiday Cottage - a delightful 16th century pink country cottage tucked away on a quiet lane in the heart of rural Suffolk. Cosy, comfortable and tranquil, featuring beams, logburning stove and large garden with orchard, games room and children's playhouse. Feed the owner's pygmy goats and look for eggs from the chickens. Thoughtfully equipped with all you'll need for a relaxing 'get-away-from-it-all' break at any time of year. Interesting places to visit and easy access to the coast.

It is close to Blackthorpe barn, a popular events venue.

This eco friendly home has air sourced underfloor heating throughout and contains many upcycled items from the exterior reclaimed scaffolding boards to the many repurposed gems to be found inside. Stepping outside there is a private south facing patio and garden with its own parking space, all just a leisurely walk from town.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This little end of terrace house is situated in a quiet little cul-de-sac close to the centre of the historic and beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds - a 10/15 minute walk at most. My home is neat and stylish and always welcoming whatever the season. If you are coming to stay in summer I have a lovely private garden and if you stay in autumn or winter you will find the house particularly cosy. And I have good parking outside too!

The house was tastefully decorated in July 2023 and comprises of a full kitchen, king bedroom with shower ensuite and a double bedroom with shower/bathroom to suit up to four guests. Located a 30 min stroll to the Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the many restaurants/cafes of Bury St Edmunds. The house is also only a 30 min walk to the West Suffolk Hospital, so is an ideal base whether it be to explore Bury or to visit patients or work at the hospital.

With your only neighbours being flamingos, alpaca, goats, wallabies & monkeys you are in for a memorable stay. There is a friendly farm cat too, keep your doors shut if you don’t want a furry intruder. This is a two person adult property, no children & no pets.
