Highly recommend this absolutely beautiful place, one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed at . So beautifully designed . It’s also in a perfect location to discover Rye . Peaceful and yet in the centre of town . We didn’t want to leave !

We had a lovely stay at Driftwood. The house was just as described and pictured. Parking was a bit tricky due to the layout of the buildings but not an issue. The house itself was beautiful with a lovely beach theme throughout, equipped with everything you could need, and perfectly located within easy reach of the beach, town, restaurants and train line to Brighton. Simone was a great host from start to finish, checking in with us to ensure all was ok and even telling us where the parasol was for the decking when she realised how warm it was. Altogether a perfect long weekend away was had!

Great location, stones throw from the beach, lovely walk to Pevensey Castle. Comfy beds, massive sofas! Lovely wood burner. Had a lovely time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - 12 of us for my Mum's 60th birthday. We loved the proximity to the beach, especially for the kids, the spacious airy kitchen and open living area, the enclosed front and back gardens for the dogs, the bunk beds, the airstream and the cabin! We had a chef come in and cook a special meal and the kitchen was really well stocked for that too. I wouldn't hesitate to book this beautiful house again!

Tracy and Mark’s place in St Leonards on Sea is absolutely lovely. The house is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable – we all felt right at home straight away. The garden is a real bonus too – a sunny spot perfect for eating or relaxing with a cup of tea or glass of wine. There were loads of interesting books and board games, if only we'd had more time! Our hosts were very kind, helpful and responsive. St Leonards itself is a great spot for a short break. It’s right on the sea, with a really creative and laid-back vibe. There are loads of great places to eat and drink, and plenty of art and interesting shops to explore. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back. Thanks again, Tracy and Mark!

Absolutely loved Barefoot Beach House! Location is fantastic, literally sitting on the sand. Home is warm and inviting, clearly loved by a family. Mark was responsive and helpful. Will definitely look to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for first rate beach stay!

Fabulous place to stay right by the beach and not too far from Rye. The house had everything we needed to cook in and was a perfect layout for an extended family to relax and socialise. The garden was a good size with a lovely hammock and table tennis table too. We all had a great time and would highly recommend this as a place to stay. Georgina was a good communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you

Had a lovely 4-night stay at this Cozy Caravan in Hastings. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great location, quiet surroundings, and easy access to local spots. Would definitely stay again!

Fabulous week, swallows nest cottage was lovely and the swimming pool was great, we were the only ones in there each time. Chris even opened the pool early for us which was much appreciated. Used the steam room too and the fabulous hot tub - had fabulous walks with our two spaniels, along the coast to Firehills was our favourite. The Cove pub was amazing, very dog friendly, warm (log fire) and welcoming, food fantastic. All in all a really lovely week. Chris and Erik very ready to help but totally happy to leave you to enjoy their lovely gardens etc. We’ll be back! Thank you Chris and Erik

We spent a lovely week at Alison's farm. Beautiful location near charming Ticehurst and Wadhurst (both have good Pubs), incredible views across open countryside and hills from the heated outdoor pool, which our daughter loved. Slides, swings and a trampoline bonus points with kids. Alison was friendly and helpful. The Shed itself is warm and comfortable, kitchen is kitted out for basic meals, and the two ensuite bathrooms are super spacious and have good showers with hot water plus bathtubs. There is so much to do in the area from beautiful walks, tastings at vineyards, to cyclyng in Bedgbury, boating in Bewl Water and seaside beauties Rye and Camber in the vicinity.

We had a wonderful three night stay. The barn house and the surroundings are beautiful. Everything we needed was there, we didn’t leave the house other than to go for a walk and some lunch in battle! Perfect for a peaceful getaway, we used the bbq and the hot tub. Would have used the swimming pond if it had been a little warmer! We all said we would 100% return with our young families and use the grounds more, ie the games room, swimming pond and trampoline We didn’t want to leave, an absolute gem of a place. James our host was great, he was there to show us around on arrival and explain everything. Thank you 🙏🏼

For my first holiday away with my 2 beautiful children I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better stay. The cottage is beautiful, the gardens and surrounding grounds are stunning, simply a lovely place to be. We spent a lot of time in the cottage and use if the new fire pit in the evenings as it was so peaceful and relaxing. 2 main attractions for us were Pooh Corner with Ashdown Forrest for all your Winnie the Pooh adventures, and Hever Castle which is a lovely day out. Tennis courts and a lovely pool to boot ❤️❤️❤️ Caroline left some beautiful touches, some Easter treats for my children and a host of food and fresh juice, lovely 😍❤️

Highly recommended, lovely location close to Eastbourne, Hastings & Brighton. Shirley couldn’t have done more to make our stay a home from home. Very welcoming and helpful, looking forward to staying again in the future. Thank you.

Nina was a wonderful host, and the cabin is cosy and gorgeous. The garden is completely private and enclosed - perfect for dogs. There was nowhere for the dog to escape. Great to be able to light a fire, felt like posh, warm glamping. Great facilities, including a gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.

This place is a great find for nature lovers or people who want to relax in an amazing nature surrownding. Julia is a very responsive and nice persone, there were plenty of picture like views, animals and walks around. Couple of points to keep in mind though: 1. Having a car is recommended if you want to dine outside, the closest Pub is 50 min walk away 2. Wifi was slow with complete disconnection from time to time, probably due bad signal coverage in the hills 3. Fishing is possible with your own gear and takle only, it is not availabale on site, but Julia was kind enough to recomment us a fishing farm nearby where we had spend a wonderfull day Over all good value for money!

we stayed with family and friends for the Easter weekend. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Christine welcomed us at the house and showed us around so we knew how everything worked. The house is a lovely space and exactly as described and shown in the pictures. we had a lot of fun. all of the kitchen essentials are provided and so much more. we would love to stay here again.

As per all the other reviews here, we also felt that John is a great host and we appreciated the special personal welcome and run through of the house. We also loved the kitchen and the dining table in the bright conservatory. Sitting in the pretty and large garden was very relaxing, especially because there were no sounds, except the odd dog or seagull. There are raspberries growing at the end of the garden, a lovely surprise. The location is great to explore nearby Bodiam Castle (highly recommended), Hastings, Winchelsea and Rye.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kahytten. We are very familiar with winchelsea beach and love the area for a holiday. the hosts are very friendly, very communicative and always about if we needed anything during the stay. the house itself is really well equipped, with everything you need for a little getaway. we loved our time there and definitely hope to be back! xxx

April Cottage was the perfect home away from home for my colleagues and I who were working locally to Eastbourne for the week. Comfortable and homely space but very modern and new feeling. With a couple of parking spaces it was perfect for our vans too! Although everything is walkable on foot to town and of course to the beach too! Our host Rayman was organised, proactive and honestly as helpful as it comes. Couldn’t recommend the property and host any higher. Thanks!

Our third stay and just as wonderful as those prior! An idyllic property and area. Always pristine with a wonderfully large/pretty/safe garden for our two dogs. The area is beautifully peaceful and has some fabulous local walks, and it’s well placed for travelling to various nearby towns and beaches. A perfect trip for a change of scenery and some much needed downtime. Looking forward to our fourth trip later in the year!

Fab location right by Camber Sands. We are a multi generational family and the house catered for everyone's needs, great garden for a game of footy, two lounges, open plan living and big enough lounge to accommodate entire family to play games! We liked the welcome pack and the children absolutely loved their bedroom!
