This home is perfectly located to use as a base camp to enjoy all of the great resources available in the Upper Peninsula. ~~fish, hike, hunt, kayak, bike, snowmobile, gamble, take in night life, rock hunt, golf, swim, explore, the options are endless.

Welcome to the Kingfisher Yurt at Great Lakes Yurt Camp in beautiful Paradise Michigan. This off the grid 16 foot yurt has two views of the Shelldrake river and is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to escape from it all. Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to whitefish point and 20 minutes to the town of Paradise down a sandy 4.7 mile two track. 4 wheel drive required! Enjoy your lakefront cabin on Lake Superior with private beach access. The adventure starts with the trip to Crisp Point Beach which is located 18 miles from route 123 driven on gravel and sand roads towards Crisp Point Lighthouse. The road goes through some of the most undeveloped land in the Eastern States. This off-grid cabin provides a wonderful experience of nature due to its remote location. It is filled all the amenities you need to enjoy beach life on Lake Superior.

The Loon cabin is lakeside, six feet from the lake! This historic cabin offers breathtaking lake views. The cabin sleeps two on a full thickness mattress sofa sleeper and is furnished with electric service, kitchen with gas range/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, and utensils. Gas grill is also provided. The Loon gets its name from the resident mating pair of loons that visit each summer. You’ll have a front row seat to see and hear their calls.

This cabin offers a perfect sense of tranquility, where you feel like nature and wildlife are your only neighbors. Forget your worries in this spacious and beautiful space. It has the feel of being alone on the lake, very secluded at the end of Wawaushnosh Drive. Rainey Reserve is just at the end of the road, and Smith Creek is just around the corner, a beautiful serene place to kayak. The kitchen is fully furnished.
