High Mountain Stone Cottage in the Cederberg

Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. A place of retreat and deep silence. The cottage, with its beautiful woodwork and stonework, belongs to another era. Our goal is to have you as close to nature as possible, while having luxury to enjoy the experience. We offer a 2 bedroom container cabin and one large bathroom overlooking fynbos nature. The lounge area connected to a small kitchen extends over a deck that's equipped with a covered braai and dinning area. The main deck extend to the woodfire hot-tub and a deck-hammock to make sure you engage with the stars. A high profile / high clearance vehicle is required - (SUV / Crossover / Bakkie).

Welcome to Weavers Cottage, set among the citrus overlooking the valley. A 12 minute walk takes you to a quiet waterfall and natural swimming spots. Guests spend their days hiking, swimming, bouldering, or simply enjoying the stillness. The patio is a peaceful place to unwind, and you will often see ponies & peacocks wandering past. Secluded Off-Grid Mountain Cottage

Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a gas geyser and solar power.
