Yellow Cottage is an original brick miner's cottage set in the rural village of El Dorado. Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

Located in the Milawa Gourmet Region, the cottage is ideal for visiting the King Valley wine region, Beechworth & Bright. From the comfort of the back verandah you will enjoy views of the olive grove & beyond the lawns to paddocks with sheep and lambs. Delights inside the cottage include a rainwater shower, bathtub, fireplace, an espresso machine & super comfy bed linens. Our recently renovated cottage loves the environment & uses rainwater, solar power & vintage European furniture.

McNamara Cottage - Accommodates 8 - two night min

The four Beechworth Cedar Cottages are situated on 2 acres of garden, 900 mtrs from the town centre, 300 mtrs from Lake Sambell beach, and close to the start of the EPIC trail & the Mountain bike park. Note: We are located on the Rail trail. The McNamara cottage can accommodate max 8 people. The upstairs retreat has a King Bed, and two singles (separated by a room divider) & downstairs a Queen Bedroom and a bedroom with 2 single beds. It has a large kitchen, dining & lounge areas.
