Welcome to Nimbus Novem, latin for Cloud Nine & named for our 1972 sailboat on which we enjoyed many memorable family trips! We're adventure seekers who love the NC coast & historic Beaufort, & this home offers the perfect getaway for all our seaside passions. We're new to AirBnB but have owned vacation rental properties since 2015. Enjoy your next gathering in this spacious, well-appointed, solar home in a coastal, resort style community. We require guests to sign a short term rental agreement.

Ride to the downtown waterfront (5 bikes) or rented golf cart. Or enjoy the community dock, pool, clubhouse, and lake, in the neighborhood....Have your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail down by the dock.

Beau Coast neighborhood offers a resort-style swimming pool, clubhouse with kitchen/lounge, kayak lake, pickleball courts, fitness center, and dock with access to Taylor’s Creek, Carrot Island, and beyond. 15 minutes to Crystal Coast beaches. Our home is pet free and does not allow services (chef, massage, photography, etc) whether offered through Airbnb or other.

Beau Coast neighborhood offers a resort-style swimming pool, clubhouse with kitchen/lounge, lakes for kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing, pickleball courts, fitness center, and dock with access to Taylor’s Creek, Carrot Island, and beyond with short drives to the Crystal Coast beaches. Access to Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks by personal boat or ferry service.

Romantic Waterfront Escape with hottub and kayak

Fishing paradise and breathtaking sunrise and moonlight from your private hottub on the back deck. Tandem kayak and small jon boat included. You can fish, kayak, or wade from the back yard! We've caught drum, flounder, shrimp, etc. Master has a king nectar bed and an amazing view of the water from the picture windows. 3 miles to beach, 13 miles to Aquarium, & 13 miles to Camp Lejeune. The road is close but once you exit your vehicle, you feel like you are in your own lil paradise.

If you are an artist, fisherperson, kayaker, boater or just someone who wants to chill, you will love this. It’s quirky, private, artsy and has soul to refresh yours. Our waterfront paradise sits on a point on Queens Creek with a 180-degree view of the quarter-mile-wide estuary, just upriver from the Intracoastal Waterway and 5 miles from the ocean. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.

The Paddle House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled on the White Oak River with water access. Great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Fishing is great on the White Oak with a large variety of fish. The sunrise, sunsets and full moons are amazing to see. Relax on the screened porch and enjoy the view. One mile from historic downtown Swansboro and 8 miles to Emerald Isle. Hammocks Beach state park is 3 miles away.

This cottage has water all around. You wake up to a sunrise view over the Outer Banks & enjoy sunsets right from your backyard. Located at a walking distance from Cape Lookout National Seashore visitor center where you can easily grab a people ferry. Saltwater fishermen across North Carolina have long heard others espousing the joys of fishing the Harkers Island area.
