It also adjoins Killarney Park and The Ring of Kerry. The wagon is a good place to escape to. Lie in bed in the morning, read your book, hear the birds sing, see the sun peeking over the mountain. On a fine evening, you can light a fire. You might see a fox, you might see a deer or a hare. One time I saw a red squirrel playing in the Oak tree. Bring your sketch pad, your journal, your knitting. This is a place to rest and recuperate. It’s also a good stop off for people walking the Beara Way.

The Shed

A 15 / 20 minute drive from Killarney on route to the famous Ring of Kerry in the middle of the Reeks District voted in the top 5 destinations to visit in the Rough Guide. 7 minutes to Killorglin the home of Puck Fair the oldest festival in Ireland. This cottage is set at the foot of the McGillycuddy Reeks with a view of Carrantuohill. Perfect for hiking, walking and cycling... The space sleeps 2 people. The heating is electric.

Lovingly restored and upgraded house in a row of cottages dating to the 1860's in a quiet residential Killarney lane , just off New St ,Killarney ,100 metres to the entrance of our National park. Restaurants ,bike rental and majestic scenery nearby. The house has 3 bedrooms and 4 beds in total as can be seen in the photos. It's just off New St, in a very quiet residential area.
