A beautiful five bedroom converted barn in Sud-Charente in France with a separate one bedroom cottage and swimming pool. With five bathrooms, two kitchens, underfloor heating & full wheelchair access throughout the property. The property has an enormous central living room with sofas around the fireplace, leading onto a covered terrace for dining and out onto a stepped garden down to the pool. Cosy for couples and ideal for families, the property has been designed for elegance and accessibility.

La maison dispose d'une salle à manger, cuisine et WC au RDC et à l'étage un balcon avec une vue panoramique, salle d'eau, toilettes, une chambre parental et deux petites chambres pour trois enfants.

It has its own entrance, kitchen, dining and living room space with original stone Charantais fireplace and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The large windows take advantage of the stunning countryside views and spectacular sunrises. If you are a fan of wildlife you will not be disappointed with regular visitors of deer, red squirrels, migrating cranes and a favourite of ours, the hoopoe.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in the glorious south west of France, my home may be just right for you. Originally a stone barn, the place has been converted over the years to provide spacious, light filled accommodation which takes full advantage of the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. There are several seating, dining and sun bathing areas in the garden and surrounding the freshly renovated, heated pool for you to enjoy those warm summer days and evenings.

La Chaumière

This lovely two bedroom cottage offers accommodation for up to four people with one double and one twin room. The cottage has its own private and enclosed courtyard area with alfresco dining and cooking areas. It also boasts a beautiful south facing deck and sunbathing area accessed directly from the French doors in the living room. La Chaumière is set in just over an acre of attractive, mature grounds with a fabulous pool set within the walls of an old barn and stunning views.
