Be our guests & experience the life & beauty of Midcoast Maine. Relax with ocean views, warm up in the sauna or take a refreshing dip. Our cottage is part of Gurnet Village, an over 100-year-old working lobstering & oyster farming property on historic Route 24, between Brunswick & Harpswell. Expect boats, workers, road traffic, gear, and the occasional sounds & smells of a real Maine working waterfront. All rooms have ocean views, with access to the tidal beach & floating dock (May-Dec).

The Happy Harbor House - your ultimate harbor retreat! Newly renovated in the coastal design style, located on one level, with all the modern amenities you could hope for. Although not on the water, you'll be a 2 minute walk to the head of the harbor, Opera House & 3 waterfront restaurants. And a mere 5 minute walk to shops & waterfront attractions in charming Boothbay Harbor.

The Stilt House

Once the island Trading Post (in the 1820's) now serves as a private retreat on Westport Island. The whole property has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. The building is nestled at the water's edge, half on land and half on stilts over the tidal waters of the Sheepscot River. The property has its own private deck, island, rocky beach, trails and hammock. This is an old structure - over 200 years old! A great piece of history and an absolute oasis.
