The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Wee Tiny House

Beautiful cabin located in a gorgeous flower filled meadow just outside the walled garden of Cuithir house (the old Manse) The views from the cabin are truly spectacular. There is both a sofa bed and a single bed on a mezzanine. A multi fuel Hobbit stove keeps the place toasty warm. The cabin comes fully equipped with gas oven that has two gas hobs. The shower room has an electric shower so an abundance of hot water is always available. This truly is the perfect place to get away from it all.

Croftend Glamping - Birdsong

Welcome to our wee pod, Birdsong. Built by local tradesman, John Angus Murdoch, our pod is spacious, well presented and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Situated in the quiet village of Lochboisdale, just a stones throw from the ferry terminal. Birdsong is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking and wake up to the sound of beautiful birdsong. This is one of two glamping pods at Croftend Glamping.

Seimh@Bayview Guest House

Seimh is gaelic for Tranquil.. sits on concrete stilts so you can watch sunrise over the bay glistening on the Kisimul Castle.. the most spectacular views. It has a king size bed with lots of storage, wetroom shower, sitting room with well equipped kitchen that opens onto a private deck. We're 15/20 mins walk/ 2 mins by car into the Castlebay where all your amenities are - local shops, hotels, restaurants, Church, Castle, boat trips, kayaking ,heritage centre & our neighbour does bike hire.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Cottage in Vatersay village

Our cottage is on the island of Vatersay which is joined to Barra by a causeway. We have three beautiful beaches within a 5 to 10 minute walking distance - Vatersay Beach which is great for swimming, the West Beach which has wonderful sunsets, and the South Beach which has views out across the southern uninhabited islands. There are great walks from the house, including one to the abandoned village of Eorisdale. The cottage is newly renovated and provides comfy living space.

Caravan On The Croft

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

Barra's Classic Campervan

Barra's Classic Campervan, 'Olive', offers a unique and unforgetable experience where you get to explore the idyllic Isle of Barra, all at your own pace! Olive is a 1979 VW T2 campervan and is in pristine condition, inside and out! Having recently undergone a slight cosmetic makeover, with new seating, flooring, fridge and table, Olive is just waiting to take you on an adventure! Do not worry, we've made sure to retain as much of her classic charm as possible.

Starsach view

Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a double bed, and a two small bunk type beds. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

Norrag Bheag

Norrag Bheag is a garden cabin perfectly located in Castlebay, right next to the marina. It enjoys beautiful uninterrupted views of Castlebay and Vatersay. It is walking distance to all amenities - local shops, pubs, hotels, places to eat, kayaking, bike hire etc. You wont forget your stay at this romantic, memorable place.

The Annexe, Isle of Barra

The Annexe is ideally located in the middle of Castlebay, with beautiful views overlooking the Castle. It is walking distance to all amenities - local shops, pubs, hotels, places to eat, kayaking, bike hire etc. It is a peaceful, simple space where you can sit and enjoy the view. Sunamul is a perfect location to escape to and enjoy the beautiful island of Barra. A modern one bedroom cottage with open plan kitchen, dining, lounge provides a very comfortable base to explore our beautiful island beaches and walks. The Cottage in the small village of Northbay, at the North of the island.
