Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Snowmobile friendly! Plenty of room for parking trucks and trailers. Guests can snowmobile right from the driveway to enter the trail system. Getaway to this rustic 1930’s log-sided 2,255 square foot cabin with vintage charm and modern conveniences in beautiful Bayfield County, Wisconsin. Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place! Guests also enjoy a 22 Foot Sweetwater Pontoon Boat that is included in guest stays from Memorial Day through September 30th each summer season!

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Island Lake Lodge + Sauna

Escape to Island Lake Lodge! Enjoy lake views, a sandy beach, & clear water. Take the canoe, kayaks or paddle boat for a peaceful ride around the lake! Great fishing with public boat access, UTV trails for miles, & great biking! Relax by the firepit, listen to loons, and end the day in the sauna with pine tree views. Don’t forget winter with XC ski and snowmobile trails nearby. Cabin is fully stocked for preparing meals after a day outside. All-season getaway perfect for adventure or stillness.

Seeley Oaks A-Frame | Secluded Retreat on 40 Acres

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. It's a total of 700 sq ft, with a queen bed in the loft, in-floor heat, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Less than 2 mi from Highway 63, 8 mi from Cable, and 10 mi from Hayward. IG: @Seeleyoaks

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. Secluded lake cabin in Barnes on 38 acres

This property on Kelly Lake has been in the family for generations, and just shifted into our possession recently. We've spruced up the house, and will continue to make improvements, but it's more than ready for renters! This property is 38 acres on 810 feet of frontage. You'll be renting the house, but you'll also see there's a small cabin and barn that are both in the process of being restored. You can use the beach, and we won't be hammering while you're here:) 25 miles from Cable.
