Roger's

Welcome to our bungalow in Woodingdean, on the edge of Brighton and Hove. This home has been in Roger’s family since it was built in 1949 and we have retained many of the original features and decoration while also adding modern conveniences necessary for today’s holidaymakers. We are also heavily into nature and wildlife and you will see signs of this in the décor and the butterfly strip and wildflower meadow around the front of the property and the views of the wildlife garden at the back.

Seaside Retreat: Private Annexe Near Brighton

Our Seaside Retreat is a chic private 2-bed single-floor annexe located on the South coast of East Sussex. It has its own private entrance, lounge/dining space, kitchen with full-size oven and hob, a shower bathroom and a south-facing bedroom overlooking a leafy garden. Set in the quiet coastal village of Saltdean, just a few miles East of Brighton, you have an easy coastal drive into Brighton's town centre, or you can fetch a local bus into town that stops only a minute's walk away.

Enjoy the city of Brighton whilst staying in peace and tranquillity near the countryside and a nature reserve. Close to bus stops to the centre of Brighton. 10 mins drive to Brighton, 20 mins to the ferry port of Newhaven and 35 mins to Gatwick.

Our annexe is located within walking distance to all Saltdean’s attractions including the beach, Lido, South Downs and Saltdean Oval and 1 minute from the bus that will take you into Brighton. We also enjoy easy access by bus to Eastbourne or popular beauty spots including Cuckmere Haven.

The Haven

The Haven is a bright and spacious Annex which overlooks Peacehaven Beach. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. The master bedroom has a double bed and the lounge has a brand new futon which opens out into another double bed. Peacehaven has all the shops you need within 2 minute walking distance. Brighton City Centre is a 15 minute bus or car journey. Your hosts, Tony and Chrissy are very welcoming and caring.
