The Log Cabin

The Log Cabin is situated 3km from the village of Ballyvaughan. It is nestled under Cappawalla Mountain on a quiet, peaceful road with fabulous views of Ailwee Mountain. It is a one-bedroom cabin, with a sofa bed in the sitting room that can sleep up to 4 guests. The Log Cabin is an ideal base for exploring the Burren, Ailwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher as well as many other tourist attractions in the area. The Log Cabin is close to the Ballyvaughan Wood Loop walk for those who enjoy walking.

It is located a stones throw from the lovely old fishing village of ballyvaughan, that was once the heart of Clare and is now part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Spend a day in the sun on one of many beaches nearby or visit the stunning Burren and its fabulous attractions, such as Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Centre, Doolin Cave, Caherconnell Fort and the majestic Cliffs of Moher. A lovely hiking trail is just up the hill past St. Patrick's Church. Located in the village of New Quay on the scenic Wild Atlantic Way, we are on the route to Ballyvaughan and the Ciffs of Moher. (A car is necessary - we are in a very beautiful rural area with very limited public transport.)
