The Convent O”Connell Circa 1867

“The Convent” O Connell c1867 was home to the Josephite nuns. Besides St Francis church and school it served as a small boarding house before being used as the local post office .Now a beautifully restored four bedroom home with beautiful Gothic windows throughout, cosy fireplace. The Winston is a beautiful old church in the retro town of Innisfail which we have been renovating for about a year. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town. The area has many attractions close by Paronella Park, Etty Bay where you will see cassowaries walking along the beach, Babinda Boulders, Josephine falls, the Mamu canopy walk, white water rafting in Tully and Mission beach just to name a few
