Lovely holiday cottage. Great facilities, especially the kitchen. Beautiful, quiet part of Scotland. We walked every day. Would recommend.

The Lodge more than met our needs as a base to explore the northern highlands. The many creature comforts helped to make us feel truly at home. The weather was so kind for the time of year allowing us to make full use of the hottub at the end of long days exploring. Our children couldn't get up early enough to "help" feed the neighbouring Highland Coos. We can't wait to come back next year to see how much they have grown.

Lovely little cottage. Very private, virtually no neighbours. Place was clean and comfortable. Hot tub is high end and kept to temperature, so it’s ready to go when you get there. Great location, pretty short drive away from some great lochs.

Beautiful cottage, with absolutely everything you need. Comfy and spotlessly clean. The garden is lovely to look out on from the conservatory when eating. Hot tub in the pretty garden was lovely day or night. Eva was a great host, providing lots of info on checking in etc. The location is really perfect as well, 2 mins walk to the beach, about 30 along the beach to Chanory point, lovely fairy glen walk along burn to beautiful waterfalls. Beach cafe 2mins away and cafe/restaurant Crofters (which you can sit in our takeaway) less than 10. 2 Playparks within a few mins walk as well. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

Would just like to say thank you for my stay me and my family loved it spicily the love for cars and stuff cars what was clear throw out the house as someone who’s into cars my self 10/10 for that one small thing can be tricky to get parked sometimes tho that has nothing to do with host just the street but 100% does not affect the stay just to be mindful other than that 10/10 we place really is thank you so much will be back again!!!

Loved this fisherman’s cottage. Bigger than I had anticipated and a real home from home with everything you might need provided. Comfy beds! Appreciated the enclosed back garden for my two dogs to get a quick toilet break, although the beach across the road meant most times we wanted to head there again and enjoy the amazing beach views! Brett was very helpful and always communicated quickly. This trip was too short - we will be back! So much to see and do in the surrounding area.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous renovated cottage. We loved the decor and feel of the cottage, it was so cosy and comfortable and we loved having the indoor fire. Everything was just perfect. The owners are lovely and helped with everything we needed. Cute towns nearby to explore so it made for a perfect couple of nights on our travels.

We loved coming back to this beautiful cottage- wish we were there for longer, but we know we’ll be back!!

What a spectacular home, overlooking the sea. Huge airy rooms, home was spotless and welcome basket very welcome!! The cottage is walking distance to a sandy beach just over the dunes which our dog absolutely loved. Great little coffee cabin within walking distance too.

Gorgeous well located cottage, opposite the Lochness hub (info centre) & bang in the middle of the village next to the green. Kate is a lovely responsive host, who adds a personal touch. It was the first time a host left dog treats, tennis ball, blankets & bowls for our dog too, which was so lovely. The cottage is well equipped, charming, with lovely decor. Garden to right is an absolute sun-trap, we could sit out in T-shirts in April with a beer. We spent most of our days hiking 13k+, first we did from the cottage, second drove to Glen Affric. We had a beautiful take out from the Chinese & brought back pizza from the Italian. The Fiddler’s won’t allow dogs in, you must sit outside so we only did lunch there, but one night we had a lovely meal (booked ahead) at the Lockness inn 15 min walk away. If we’d been back from hiking sooner the cafe on the green would have been a good option too, it serves beer & has a nice garden. You won’t regret booking this gem, Thanks Kate :)

We loved staying at Woodside, it had such a good feel to the place, really warm and comfortable, exactly what you’re after on a break away. Stunning surroundings, lovely garden and a well thought out and cared for home, really lovely! We’ll definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family thanks x

We stayed here for 5 nights but could’ve easily stayed much longer! It’s just such a nice place that really feels like home the minute you walk through the door. The room with the windows facing the sea is a great place to hang out, look out over the coast and watch all the birds fly by - grabbing your binoculars when you think you see something special :) Our 1,5 year old daughter really enjoyed the house too (she loved all the children’s books!). Bit challenging to keep her off the stairs but the multi-purpose fire guard worked a treat!

At first we hesitated over the price of this cottage, but left knowing it was worth every penny. Inside it is so comfy with amazing beds, cosy woodburner in the living room, and large really well stocked kitchen with incredible views from every window. But it’s the garden that made this one of our favourite stays on the Nc500. The pictures can’t do justice to how amazing the views are over the Kyle of tongue and up the tiny track to Talmine. We walked down to skinnet beach in front of the house (there’s a marked footpath about 150m down the road if you turn left from the house) and it was our favourite beach for paddling with the kids !

Plain and simple, this was THE best air b’n’b we have ever stayed in. Everything about it. The location and the club and grounds are just beyond stunning. Breathtaking views. Between the back view of the highland club facing Loch Ness to looking over your shoulder to see Loch Ness, just amazing. The cottage itself while not a part of the main building was perfect. All the amenities needed and plenty of space for the four of us. Waking up to the snow on the lawn outside was beautiful. The hamper on arrival was so helpful for our 3 nights there. The board games, fire place and sporting equipment was great. The games room and especially heated pool inside was amazing to relax and look out to the snowy mountains. Honestly, was sad to leave and could have stayed there another week! Worth every cent. Our two kids were in heaven.

A beautiful and relaxing home to have a perfect break. The host, Maureen has created one of the best Airbnb's we have ever used. Great communication and easy access. The home is high end furnished, comfortable and in a peaceful location. The garden was perfect to relax after long walks. The enclosed space perfect for our dog. Nice touch having tea, coffee and sugar on arrival. Aviemore centre was a 10 minute walk away and short drive to Rothiemurchus leading to a wonderful forest walk to Loch an Eilein. Just further along the road is Loch Morlich. Stunning in the sunshine with marked walking trails around the area. We will definitely use again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Aviemore area.

If you’re thinking about booking this place, just do it! It’s a gorgeous and well maintained little cottage in an incredible location.

Hele fijne tijd gehad. We hadden een klein probleempje met ons matras en dit is meteen opgelost door de host. Super huisje, we waren graag nog langer gebleven. Wat een fijne plek! Echt een aanrader voor natuurliefhebbers. Nogmaals dank voor de fijne tijd🫶

Really enjoyed our stay here, wished we could have stayed longer. Clean, comfortable and warm place. Well equipped kitchen that we utilised to cook meals in. Mary and Callum have a great setup here. We didn’t get to meet them personally, but everything was so good we didn’t need to contact them.

Had a brilliant time at Ken's, the cottage had everything you need and the location was perfect for exploring Assynt. Many of the furnishings are dated but this added to the charm of the place. Shower was powerful, Internet was surprisingly fast and bed comfortable. Ken is very friendly and communication is second to none. Would love to visit again!

Lovely comfortable accommodation with great views! Gloria and William were great hosts, very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location to visit all the fabulous attractions on the Isle of Skye. Highly recommended!

My husband and I are so thankful we booked the Crofter for our time in Skye. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever had while traveling and we cannot stop talking about how charming the cottage/location was. Easy drive to Portree and such a relaxing home base at night after long days of traveling around Skye. Sarah was very proactive with providing helpful instructions for our stay. We can’t wait to stay again!
