Escape to one of our two sister A frames. These cozy cottages are nestled in the Oakland, Maine woods. Close proximity to I-95, Messalonskee and prestigious Belgrade Lakes you will find home to a wide variety of wildlife and nature. Boating, fishing and ATV riding close by! The campus includes a loft with a view, walking trail, free/overflow parking. A luxury, campy feel makes this a perfect getaway for you and your family. Please note some amenities are seasonal. Make memories at our updated, 2500 sq. ft., lakefront home. Use our kayaks, canoes & peddle boats for the family! Great fishing - 648 acre lake. We offer many outside games, range of indoor games & arcade systems. Amazing 4-seasons room with outdoor dining setup viewing the lake. Enjoy our new hot tub, and grilling deck right outside master bedroom. Lavish soaking tub in master bath. Only 4 minutes to golf, 10 minutes to capital city, Augusta, and 45 minutes to skiing as well as Atlantic Ocean!

Room B is a small (10’ x 10’) but cozy room with full size bed with luxury mattress and private bathroom (5’ x8’) with towel warmer & glass shower. The room includes a desk, TV, minifridge, microwave, coffee maker, dresser, reading chair & private entrance. In the summer we have bicycles to use on the rail trail and kayaks for the Kennebec River. Year round hot tub. Downtown is just a block away where there are numerous restaurants and pubs with live music. Hiking trails & waterfalls nearby.

Rustic Family Cabin on China Lake

This rustic cabin has been in my family for 4 generations. It's well loved, a bit quirky, sometimes musty and perfect for a family get away. We welcome well trained dogs, and have high expectations that you will respect the place and leave it in good shape for us and future guests. We welcome families, but after bad experiences, we are not available for your group of friends, reunion, or bachelor/(ette) party. We ask you to bring your own linens. The water in the cabin is not drinkable

The cottage is part of an over 100 year old working lobstering, and now oyster farming property we call, Gurnet Village. Located right on historic Route 24, we are conveniently situated between Brunswick & the islands of Harpswell. All rooms have ocean views. The tidal beach & the floating dock (May-Dec) is ideal for seasonal fishing, lounging & swimming.

Stella the Studio Apartment

Stella is a cabin-style, pet-friendly studio apartment on 100 acres of wooded property. Enjoy the property's amenities (trails, kayaking, canoeing, axe throwing, wood-fired pizza oven) and return to your comfortable space with a hot tub, power, heat, and plumbing! Stella is located at the start of the land, above our storage building, has plenty of parking and can be reached with 2wd vehicles. This is a new space, exterior is unfinished. The hot tub is an Aqualiving 3 person lounge!

Winter or summer, the Little River Retreat will help you step away from the world - but still be minutes from Reid State Park, Five Islands Lobster, the Georgetown General Store, and the rugged beauty of Midcoast Maine. This is our family camp, with our own books, games, and “vibe”. It is not a hotel, and some things may not be “industry standard”. We love the unique charm of this space and place, and many repeat guests do too. We hope you will treasure (and care for it) as we do!

Riverside

Overlooking Kennebec River, Riverside is a perfect setting. Open 365 days per year; 2BR, 1 BA, kitchen, DR/common area. Situates 4 comfortably, 6 with the use of couches, 8 with added use of floor mattresses. Renovated, open concept, our home is wheelchair accessible. We accept Service dogs and will consider family dogs and other pets on a case-by-case; please ask. Owners reside on property in separate building. Outdoor trail cameras in use to monitor exterior of residence only.

SILVER MOON, a Yurt for All Seasons

Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Keep it simple at this peaceful, centrally-located efficiency apartment above our garage. 15 minutes to Gardiner/Augusta, 15 minutes to I95/295. Less than one hour from Portland. Sit by the stream, listen to the loons or enjoy relaxing in the hot tub. If you want to kayak, you can do that too! Eagles regularly soar overhead. Queen size bed, love seat and room enough for a pack and play. A/C, full kitchen, Keurig, microwave, toaster, dishes. Wifi and cable. Roomy parking.
