There is an awesome firepit area located right on the shoreline with views of Autrain Island, Grand Island and more... The Suite is a perfect getaway or honeymoon destination for couples looking for that special spot. There is a nice big TV, WiFi and Netflix, OR 2 big picture windows overlooking the Lake. The Highbanks is a 3 Bedroom 1.5 bath home that can sleep and feed up to 6 people. Full breakfast is included! It is just a short walk up the beautiful, wooded path to your own Lake Superior Beach! In the Winter, snowmobilers will find trail 417 a stone throw away. Beautiful, cozy in all seasons, two bedrooms, spacious kitchen, and comfortable living space. This place has everything you need for a quiet getaway on the magnificent shores of Lake Superior.

You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Our cottage is nestled in one of the many small coves and inlets that make up Lost Lake, a private, sand-bottom lake that's great for swimming and watersports. We're just 10 miles south of downtown Munising - the gateway to Pictured Rocks; we're surrounded by hundreds of miles of roads and trails which boast amazing fall colors; and we're just 3 miles away, as the crow flies, from the Buckhorn Resort and snowmobile Trail 7. Our location is perfect for playing year round!

Au Train River Log Cabin Near Lake Superior

Our cabin is set on the beautiful AuTrain river, just minutes from Lake Superior. It is fully equipped to make your stay relaxing and fun! A full kitchen which includes a stove, fridge, and a BBQ grill to cook what you would like. There is a queen size bed, and a natural gas fireplace, and full bathroom. We also have a deck to enjoy the wildlife from. Hummingbirds, Blue Heron, geese, ducks, eagles, river otters and more have all been spotted from the front porch.
