State Land across the street. Close to AuSable and Rifle Rivers and Clear Lake. Minimum age is 25

Creekside Cabin

2-bedroom cabin tucked away in the woods, on a creek that flows directly into the river. Located just 3 minutes from Oscoda’s beach, local coffee, and ice cream, this cabin is your ideal getaway for both relaxation and adventure. You’ll be within walking distance to kayak/tubing rentals, so you can head straight from the cabin to the water. Nearby trail entrances for UTV and snowmobile rides. The cabin features a spacious yard, two fire pits for evening gatherings, and a fully remodeled kitchen.

Shady Shores Cabin 2

Cabin 2 is one of the original cabins built in 1948. It's beautiful old world knotty pine. Enjoy catching up with friends and family around the campfire and staring up at the crisp night sky. Each guest at Shady Shores has access to the gazebo, and 200 ft of shoreline. Shady Shores is conveniently located along Michigan's gorgeous east shoreline along US-23, locally known as the sunrise side. Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

With 66 ft. of beautiful AuSable frontage, this refurbished 1940's era cabin features a stunning natural stone fireplace along with an updated kitchen and bath. Sit on the screened porch with its built-in grill, or relax and enjoy a campfire as the stars twinkle above. Wood for your first fire is provided with additional wood available. Walking distance of canoe rental, restaurants & the beach, you will surely create great memories here!

Remote, off-grid cabin w/pond on 120 acres + goats

Pull the plug at this unique and tranquil getaway that we call "Elysium Heritage Farm". Experience groomed trails, ponds, canals & marshes on our 120 acres of woods & wetlands. View multitudes of "flora and fauna" along with the fainting goats, chickens, rabbits & other critters of "The Farm". Go for a canoe or kayak trip. The cabin has NO ELECTRICITY OR RUNNING WATER but solar lighting illuminates nicely and there are convenient private showers available offsite. Potable water provided.

Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, not a party place. Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

If your looking for a private oasis this is your place! We are on a private road, few neighbors, full time residents. We hope you appreciate the aesthetics and solitude. Our cabin has been in our family over 40 years, this is our first time hosting our beloved home. We hope you find it charming, comforting and a place to build beautiful memories. Rustic Lake Cabin with Beautiful Sunset

"Rustic” cabin on main part of Secord Lake. Swimming & Kayaking only. Must be 25 or up to be the primary renter .Two Kayaks are available for you to use. Beautiful view overlooking the water. Amazing sunsets. Peaceful mornings. Large windows to enjoy the view . Indoor bathroom with an outside shower. (No inside shower or tub) Two beds in the loft. Picnic table and patio set with 4 chairs. Firepit area near beach. Quiet, peaceful area. No parties please.

Lighthouse Inn Cottage

Discover the charm of Lighthouse Inn, nestled in Au Sable Charter Township. This delightful two-bedroom cabin offers a serene lakeside escape with a queen bed in both the cozy loft and downstairs bedroom, plus a full-sized futon in the living room. The kitchen and open living area are perfect for relaxing, all while soaking in the stunning lake views. One set of towels will be provided with your stay. We do not have laundry on site, please plan accordingly.
