There is free parking in both the front and the rear of the house. The house is located on The Wild Atlantic Way.There is also Foynes Yacht club and KnockPatrick gardens the Flying Boat Museum is walking distance from the cottage this is the only aviation museum in Ireland www.flyingboatmuseum.com.

Also, many people like to stop in Adare for a night or two on their way to other beautiful parts of Ireland like Kerry, Cork, Galway or Clare which are all within a 1 hour drive.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
