Need a Place to unwind and relax? Disconnect. No houses in sight of our Waldo Cabin. Walk down a shady lane to Talladega Creek where you can enjoy wading or fishing. The historic Waldo Covered Bridge is just below the cabin spanning the creek. Prospectors pan for gold in the creek. The farm is 20 acres of trees and wildflowers surrounded by the Talladega National Forest. Mt. Cheaha, the highest point in AL is just up the road. Pinhoti Trail is 2 miles away. Chief Ladiga biking trail is nearby.

Escape to this beautiful lake house and start making memories! This 2 bedroom 1 bath is fully equipped with everything you need for a stress free vacation. You will have your own boat launch, pier and 2 jet ski docks. Relax in the evenings enjoying the fire while making smores. Charcoal grill located near the dining area. This tiny cabin nestled in the woods is the ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature near the lake! Located in Manoy Creek on Lake Martin, it is less than 250 steps to the water through a wooded trail and offers lake access in the summer and creek access in the winter with a shared dock area. Relax on the covered porch & fire pit or fish on the banks of the creek or enjoy a day of adventure on a kayak or boat which can be kept at the shared dock. (Shared with other tiny cabin)

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Bring the family and enjoy our home nestled in a pine forest with a small pond in front. Our house is a work in progress but very spacious and great for families. Our house has many windows and French doors that let the outside in. Enjoy our spacious porches and overlooking the lake. The house is situated on two acres but surrounded by woods on all sides. If you are looking for a place to get away look no further.

This is a quiet get-away located on Miller's farm only 20 min. from I-20 between Atlanta & B'ham The sunsets are spectacular. Mt. Cheaha is approximately 15 minutes from the farm. The farm is located approximately 45 minutes from the Talladega Race Track and Anniston (home to the Cheaha Challenge bicycle race),Talladega National Forest 10 minutes, Tallapoosa River and Lake Wedowee, 281 Scenic Byway, Scenic Hwy 49 that leads to US Military Park at Horse Shoe Bend.

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.
