The Old Coach House, Wheatsheaf Mews

Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Lane End Cottage - cosy cottage with large garden.

16th century cosy stone cottage with large private garden, includes lounge, kitchen and separate dining room. Pretty sun room ideal for morning coffees. Two bedrooms, one twin, and one king size. Shower and toilet upstairs. Bed settee is in the dining room. Will easily sleep 6 but seating is limited in the lounge. The main bath and shower room is downstairs. There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.

The house is surrounded by mature parkland and is situated in the middle of a working farm. The airbnb listing is for the wing which is the original 1700’s farmhouse on the left hand side of the picture with a red tiled facade. The Dale is conveniently situated to getting in to Nottingham, Mansfield or Southwell.

The Laurels offers one storey comfortable accommodation for young families; adults; and those wanting to explore the surrounding area. The lounge/dining room with patio doors overlooks the large, south facing, enclosed garden. As grandparents to a number of young children, we have toys and games for your use. 1 cot and 2 cotbeds are available by prior arrangement for young families and will easily fit as extras in the bedrooms. We are located in a quite residential area which is located in a quite cul-de-sac in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. One of the most famous writers of the 20th century was D.H. Lawrence, whose groundbreaking novel Lady Chatterley’s Lover changed English literature for ever. When Lawrence was growing up in Eastwood, this part of Nottinghamshire was dominated by the coal mining industry, which has now declined, but still holds a pride of place in history.
