The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

Rural cartlodge on a family run arable farm

A cosy cottage on a small working family farm near the Essex/Suffolk border. Within walking distance of the beautiful village of Castle Hedingham. It is the perfect base for exploring the countryside, enjoying the wildlife, visiting the local venues or the historic villages of Finchingfield, Thaxted, Lavenham and Long Melford, which are all within a 30-minute drive. Alternatively, there is boating on the nearby river Stour, or just enjoying a drink at one of the country pubs along its route.

Centrally located to enjoy the beautiful Suffolk countryside, Honeybee is within walking distance of the delightful village of Cavendish, a short drive to Long Melford, Clare and historic Lavenham with its famous timber-framed houses and just 12 miles from the Cathedral town of Bury St Edmunds. Honeybee is a well-equipped end of terrace. The village has a pub boasting delicious home-cooked food, a Chinese, fish and chip shop and social club along with two mini supermarkets, and pharmacy.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft offers recently built, luxury accommodation right in the heart of Clare. Perfect for couples, there is so much to see and do here - with restaurants, pubs and traditional tea-rooms on the doorstep. Beautiful countryside awaits those who enjoy walking - the Stour Valley runs through Clare Country Park - or why not visit historic Bury St Edmunds, with its theatres, restaurants and world-famous Greene King brewery. NB we no longer accept bookings with dogs.
