Quiet Japanese Home near Nara Park | Bed & Tatami

Our home "ROKUDO" offers a comfortable and spacious layout for families and groups.　 There is one double bedroom and two traditional tatami rooms with futons, allowing guests to relax in Japanese style. Baby bed is available. The house includes a kitchen and dining area with full equipment where you can cook a simple meals and enjoy time together. Many kind of tea, coffee and welcome sweets are provided. The bathroom and toilet are in separate rooms for convenience. In the basement, you will find a washing machine　with dryer, a laundry drying space and small play equipment for children, making it suitable for longer stays and family travel.

The whole villa is to rent to only one group of guests each day, Family, Friends reunion, Girls’ gathering, whichever group can enjoy and relax here. All the furniture are specially selected by the Owner’s sense, wooden-style based, natural, healthy & comfortable, so that you can relax just like you are staying at home.

A Satoyama Private Retreat in Nara

A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. Hinoki house: Traditional machiya, walk to sights.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

およそ築100年、大正時代の本格日本家屋のゲストハウスを一棟貸し切りして頂けます。 気兼ねなく、奈良に暮らすようにゆっくりお過ごし頂けます。 奈良公園のすぐ側、近鉄奈良駅まで徒歩約10分。 早朝や夕暮れの静かな時間の散策も容易です。 4名様まで同料金です。最大9名様までご宿泊頂けます。 格子の窓や茶室、縁側、中庭、大正時代に建てられた日本家屋は趣で魅力いっぱいです。 中庭に面した掘り炬燵のあるリビングでゆっくり団欒して下さい。 キッチンは、IHコンロ、電子レンジ、トースター、冷蔵庫、ポット、調理道具などが揃っています。 みんなで料理して、庭を見ながら掘りごたつでお鍋を囲むなど、楽しくお過ごし下さい！ トイレとシャワールームは二か所ずつございます。 ホテルのような設備はございませんが、懐かしい情緒とゆっくりお過ごし頂けると幸いです。 お部屋は寝室だけで合計3部屋（大きい和室を分割すれば4部屋）ございます。 人数に合わせてご用意させて頂きます。 部屋割りなどにご希望がございましたらご連絡下さい。

こんにちは。西村邸へようこそ。主宰の杉本雄太です。 西村邸は、築110年以上の伝統的な奈良町屋です。ぼく自身が子どもの頃、長い時間を過ごした「おばあちゃんち」を改修して2019年に宿としてオープンしました。奈良町屋のありのままの姿を残しているので不便も多く、すべてが揃うような豪奢なホテルではありません。 　そのかわり、奈良町に漂う「心地よいひなび」に浸るにはこれ以上ない場所だと考えています。駅前の喧騒をはなれた環境で「内省と回復」の手助けになればとの思いで、お部屋の書籍やベジタリアンスタイルの朝食を用意しています。（お部屋の書籍は、ほぼ全てご購入いただけます。） 　どうぞ今夜は、西村邸と奈良町の静けさの中で、ご自身の心の声に耳を澄ませながらお過ごしください。
