Relax and unwind while you rock on the porch, drink coffee and breathe in the fresh air, take a hike at Davey Dogwood Park, ride the train at Texas State Railroad, or go fishing at Richland Chambers Lake which is just a short drive away. Nestled in between Athens and Palestine this 3 bedroom, 1 bath house is pet friendly and designed to get the kids playing.

The Cottage

This cozy cottage has been totally renovated and designed for your comfort and enjoyment. We have addressed every detail to make your stay a memorable one. The cottage is a perfect country retreat. You will enjoy nature, being surrounded by trees, birds, wildlife and a beautiful sunrise. We are located just 2 miles from downtown Palestine and 3 miles to the Texas State Railroad yet in a country setting behind a security gate with your private code. Canton 1st Monday trade days is 1 hour away

Wheneverwood Hideaway: FREE farm fresh eggs w/stay

Unique and tranquil getaway. We have all the amenities you will need for a great stay. A stylish little cabin in the country with access to walking trails, a pool, and a hot tub($) at the main house. We have farm animals and we run an animal rescue that can have up to 32 dogs. They stay in a fenced-in yard where the pool is located and love to swim with guests! We have added Starlink internet to the cabin as well as a smart TV to greatly enhance your entertainment options during your stay.

Lake House Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Enjoy swimming off the back deck, the ambiance of sitting on the many decks enjoying the beauty of the lake or just relaxing to watch the sunset. If the weather is cooler you may want to enjoy sitting around the gas firepit on the deck or the wood burning fireplace in the Sunroom! The one bedroom has a queen size bed and in the den a pull out sofa bed for two. Less than 10 minutes to downtown for all you shopping and great restaurants too!

The Lakeside Lodge

The Lakeside Lodge is a custom, hand-crafted home built three years ago with a family friendly atmosphere in mind. It sits on three acres on Lake Palestine and has plenty of lounging and dining areas on the wraparound porch. This is the perfect weekend retreat to make precious friend and family memories! The garage has been converted into a hangout area for the kids and has 4 single beds. The storage building is a converted room with 4 queen beds. Can't wait to host your family! -Chase

Kick back and relax in this calm, family friendly space whether it’s for fun or work. You will discover a new experience…fresh air, a beautiful hardwood forest, a small private lake, so quiet and peaceful with wildlife surrounding you, and of course, cardinals! You will be inside a gated community with private parking, a campfire area and a canoe. You may fish in the lake in front of the guest house, but it is strictly “catch and release”. Newly constructed. Now ready for guests!

The Cabin at Bell & Brook Ranch

Surrounded by nature, our off-grid cabin is perfect for unplugging, reconnecting, and relaxing. On the peninsula of a pond surrounded by forests and sweeping views of open hay fields, the Cabin is a unique, tranquil getaway located inside of a working ranch. Watch clouds float by on the attached porch, or the sunset on the water, then enjoy the warmth of the fire pit while the stars come out! Find your adventure here—meeting the horses, fishing, or just exploring the forest trails.

Hidden Gem Cottages: Sapphire Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house has a king bed in the master with attached bath, a secondary bedroom with 2 queens, an additional hall bath and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It sits on a stocked pond with a fishing pier. You will have access to fish and relax at our catch and release pond. The outdoor space also includes a patio with gas grill, large front porch overlooking the pond, covered back porch overlooking woods and a fire pit.

Lovely Guest House

Our Guest House is recently remodeled and just re-listed on Airbnb. It now has a full kitchen with an oven and induction cooktop, new flooring and other new finishes. Located in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas with breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and valleys. In addition to the Guest House you will enjoy a game room/exercise room and our beautiful grounds with a hammock and children’s playscape. It's the perfect getaway for a group of friends or family.

Owen's Pond Cottage with serene and private areas

Relax with the whole family and friends at this peaceful cottage. Enjoy the well appointed, mostly secluded, home amid the trees. Visit in surrounding areas for antiquing, festivals, fishing, drive through safari and holiday activities. Miniature donkeys can be heard braying. 1 to 2 Small to medium size dogs welcome. Comfortable for 5 persons although 6 persons can fit. No fencing on property and the Kayak is just for decoration. Insurance stays welcome

Little House By the Lake

(SMOKE FREE PROPERTY)This is our happy place and we hope you will love it, too! Our secluded house by the lake is two bedroom (one master with a king-size and a 2nd bedroom with 4 kid bunk beds, room to sleep on the couch, too), two bath, kitchen, washer, dryer, games, gas fire pit, decks, dock, tall trees, and tranquility. Near the south end of the lake and it is shallow. Great fishing. Not too far to FIFA WC matches (2:15 to AT&T and 3:00 to NRG).

East Texas private Bass lake. Cabin is 40 yards from lake but not directly on the water. 2 bedroom, 1 bath. Our cabin is clean, simple, quaint, and fully furnished. The AC/heat is split units with ceiling fans in each room. Come sit on the front porch, relax on the swing, or use the charcoal grill and fire pit. The cabin can be rented for 1 to 4 people. Your stay includes free boat rental, trolling motor and battery. 2 hrs from DFW and Shreveport.
