To get to the rock shelters if you are not a climber, your first need to know that the trail is rocky and need to use fixed ropes to help yourself hike to get there. Rock Climbing/Camping property with all amenitiesRoca Norte Outdoor Climbing Gym is the perfect place for camping and rock climbing. You don’t need to climb to camp but you can do both. This is an additional service we offer. We’re located in Vega Baja in a cozy setting between two mountains and a beautiful mountain view! We provide 2-person tents, full size air mattresses, hammock, flashlights, campfire area, shared kitchen and bathroom, and electricity. To get to the rock shelter you should be able to hike a short but sometimes steep trail using fixed ropes to help yourself. You should be able to climb a 10 ft ladder and be in an adventurous, flexible mood!! as we will give you a map to get there! You will love this if you love being surrounded by trees.
