Aguas Calmas lies between two traditional acequias (water-courses). Superb walking tracks lead into the mountains. Lots to do! Perfect base for Granada, beaches, Alpujarra, skiing and local restaurants. Great weather all year round. Paradise for hiking, cycling, lazing around pool or remote working. Good WiFi. Rest and disconnect from everything in this oasis of tranquility. The house is small and quiet (except for the holidays, the last weekend in October). It is a picturesque town, with white houses and narrow alleys. There are no shops, only a bar in the square with reduced hours. It is surrounded by fields. Good place for hiking and to visit other charming towns in the Valley and the Alpujarras. It is 40 minutes from the beach and Granada city.
