Originally constructed in 1958, this single story Block House sits on a large double corner lot in the Heart of Kill Devil Hills. Close to the Beach, shopping , and Attractions, Our Vintage Flatroof is Modernized while trying to keep its nostalgic feel that made so many fall in love with the Outer Banks!! Ocean Front Beach House Kearney Castle

Enjoy a home right on the beach. You can see the ocean from most rooms. Sit on the deck and see your family play on the beach, simmer in the hot tub overlooking the ocean, walk to fish head pier, minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. This is a great beach get away for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). In season (from April thru September) we only do full week Sunday to Sunday rentals.

We are located on the beautiful Historical Roanoke Island. Sitting 5 minutes from downtown Manteo shops and restaurants. Only 10 minutes drive to The NC Aquarium, Elizabethan Garden and The Lost Colony. 10 minutes to Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head and 20-25 minutes drive to Pea Island. We are even closer to all that Roanoke Island has to offer. Our cottage is an airy and calming space, clean and well maintained.

The porch is a favorite spot for morning coffee or evening happy hours!
