It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Peter's house. Tastefuly decorated, equipped with everything you need (kitchen ustensils, baby bed and chair...), there is everything you need for a pleasant and easy stay as a family. The roof terrace's view is breathtaking and you'll sure enjoy a peaceful morning cup of coffee there. The house is perfectly located (free municipal parking on the corner....) and everything you need is within a 5 mn walk... If you need anything or should anything happen, Peter lives in the same building so you feel safe but you never notice his presence or get any intrusive feeling from it. All in all, Casa Tamayo is a wonderful place (for families) to stay and I can not recommend it enough!!!

Emplacement impeccable pour visiter cette partie de l'Andalousie . Maison agréable avec de l'espace et différentes terrasses ensoleillées et à l'ombre. Rangements pour les vêtements dans les chambres pas pratiques. Piscine très agréable.

The house is fascinating- some of the downstairs rooms are actually carved out of the rock- the pictures can`t really do it justice! You got a real sense of the history of the house, whlle at the same time it had all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay, including the best wifi connectivity that I have ever experienced in Spain- incredible for a mountain village. The house was very well equipped for a walking holiday, with an extensive library of local guide books and maps, as well as binoculars and walking poles. Ann-Helene was extremely kind, even though we made several changes to our booking due to family issues. We appreciated her patience.

Todo muy bien. Es un lugar maravilloso y tranquilo. Muy limpio el alojamiento y muy correcta la anfitriona, sin duda repetiré.

Lovely old village house tastefully updated with lots of original features and modern touches. Very quiet area handy for both parking and the rest of the village. Stayed in March during the wettest period for 12 years but undeterred! Still had a great time with lots of walking! My small dog loved it too. Martine is a brilliant host and although she was away at the time, was still very responsive.

Location qui correspond à la description, maison typique très mignonne. El Acebuchal est un village au calme avec une belle histoire mais un peu éloigné de Frigiliana, il faut 10 à 15 minutes en voiture pour y accéder, et emprunter un chemin de terre de 1,7 km. Il faut entre 25 et 30 minutes en voiture pour rejoindre Nerja et ses plages, ça se fait très bien car nous le faisions tous les jours. Frigiliana est une très belle ville, magnifique de nuit.

This was a wonderful week in a very comfortable house in Quentar. It was right in the middle of the town and we received clear instructions about how to make our way from the Granada Train station via a half hour bus ride to a magic place. Our warm and welcoming host met us at the Quentar bus stop and took us to the house. The house had everything we needed, well set up kitchen, hot showers, heating in the large bedroom with a comfortable bed. The fire in the main room was great at night and we sat around talking till late and really enjoyed ourselves. I will certainly be staying again next time I am back in Spain. Gracias.

We loved staying here! Right in the middle of Cómpeta and not far from the free parking. The house had lots of kitchen equipment too which was great! Very spacious and lovely rooftop

María es muy amable y la estancia fue muy buena

Alojamiento muy recomendable. La casa preciosa y muy cómoda, el barrio muy tranquilo y familiar y muy cerca del centro de Granada. Hemos estado muy a gusto.

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa de un mes en Órgiva. El alojamiento es muy bonito y acogedor, y la zona es tranquila, con muchas opciones para hacer actividades. Uno de los puntos destacados del apartamento es la terraza en la azotea.

The house is as described and the landlord very helpful with instructions and flexible with checkout time which was really appreciated. Just be aware that the lift nearby is for pedestrians only and no children under1.2m allowed. In order to access the ski slopes you need to walk to the end of the close to catch the bus which runs every 30minutes and costs 1 Euro per person, cash only. A lovely stay, thank you.

isabel muy amable, se quedo despierta hasta tarde para recibirnos y fue muy cordial. el alojamiento está un poco alejado de Granada por lo cual es imprescindible ir con vehículo propio

Todo genial, la casa impecable, muy acogedora y con unas vistas insuperables. La ubicación perfecta para pasear por el centro, caminar hasta la Alhambra y visitar todos los miradores. Los anfitriones fueron muy simpáticos, nos recomendaron sitios y nos facilitaron un montón de información sobre lugares que visitar. Sin duda lo recomiendo al 100% y repetiremos sin dudarlo!

The house is beautiful and very charming, in a lovely village. The area is very relaxing, with a lovely view from the roof terrace over the mountains. The local people are very friendly and we enjoyed a few evenings in Piki bar which is 2 minutes walk from the house. Floris was really helpful and communicated very well ahead of our trip and whilst we were out there. We would definitely recommend Canar and this house specifically for anyone looking for a relaxing stay away

The house is really nice, inside it looks like a small castle! We immediately felt at home, if we could we would certainly have extended our stay. If you are looking for an area where you have a beach close by, then I would look further. We had a car for the entire period, so we could go everywhere. We really enjoyed the house! Un alojamiento comodísimo con todo tipo de servicios. Camas muy cómodas y cocina completa. De lujo

This was a great apartment in a friendly and safe village. I was a solo traveller and liked the fact that the entrance to the apartment was completely private. Some lovely Morrocan furnishings in line with its location next to a beautiful Mudejar tower. Local restaurants serving food at budget friendly prices. The apartment is only a few yards from the river and I spent many happy hours reading at the riverside. Super friendly locals, including the housekeeper Maria, who keeps the apartment extremely clean and tidy.

What a nice place and house. If you are looking for a small village as a starting point for walks in the area, a quiet house and nice restaurants: this is the place to go to! The house is small but the bed and shower are good which is important for us. We chose it for the roof terrace and we good sit there with a beer after our walks. Fully equipped kitchen but we used it only for boling eggs and preparing tea and coffee. Unfortunately not all the restaurants were open in the evening but bar Andalucia was great for Spanish food and if you are able to eat during daytime, go to restaurante La Sociedad and go for the chivo 😋😋. So, the village, house and walks are highly recommended!
