Rustic Ridge Retreat

NEW!!!! PRIVATE OUTDOOR SHOWER!!! Enjoy a full hot shower under the stars 🌌AIR CONDITIONED AND FULL ELECTRICITY. Private yurt retreat on Iowa homestead. Elevated deck with grill, fire table, sectional. Giant games (Tetris Tumble, Kerplunk, Connect 4, etc). Skylight dome, queen bed, sofa bed, kitchenette (fridge/keurig, etc.) WiFi. No running water, but plenty of Culligan jugs + flushable portapotty (sink, light) + outdoor shower. Free YMCA (state of the art/new!) day pass per guest/day. Max 4✨

Unwind in this peaceful and utterly private oasis. Thirty two acres of pristine prairie and stunning sunsets. Built using Stapatyaved principles that promote alignment with natural law, this home feels nourishing and harmonious. New bamboo floors, granite countertops, soothing color palette. Lounge in a hammock, relax by the firepit, explore the 2 mile walking trail, look for our resident owl in one of the two classic barns. Or have an adventure or meal in eclectic Fairfield, just 5 miles away.

Enjoy the outdoors with our heated family pool (open seasonally-shared with the owners), hot tub (open year round-private to you), fire pit, and walking trails. We are 10 minutes from Amish country in Kalona where you can check out the Sale Barn, shop at antique stores, eat cheese curds at Kalona Creamery, and more. Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City is about 35 minutes away. Riverside Casino is about 15 minutes away.

Only a 30 minute drive from University of Iowa, in Iowa City for sporting events.

Take your morning coffee on the quaint breakfast porch or front porch.

Be at Home on South Avenue B in Washington, Iowa! This cozy yet spacious home is centrally located in Washington just blocks from shopping, dining & coffee on the square or just over 1 mile to the Washington Wellness Park and trailhead of the Kewash Trail. Our home offers two bedrooms and one full bath with laundry. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and sitting area while bedroom 2 can be configured with 1 king or two twin beds allowing flexibility for your stay.

Cozy Cottage

Enjoy a cozy stay in a private cottage nestled in on a beautiful tree-lined street. Wayland is a small, friendly community in Southeast Iowa. It’s just a short drive—10 miles north to Washington, 20 miles south to Mt. Pleasant (County Seat), or 40 miles to Burlington, Iowa City, or Ottumwa—offering small-town living with nearby city amenities. We are available to assist you with any needs, as we live right in Wayland. We look forward to your visit.

The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.

This recently completed new construction ranch style home is located in a quiet and relaxing new subdivision on the southwest side of Washington close to the fairways and greens of the Washington Golf and Country Club. You will feel right at home in this two bedroom, two bath home that features no steps, an oversized one stall garage, full laundry facilities and a dedicated workspace.
