The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). The Old Stables a beautiful, cosy and stylish barn conversion near Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight - Dog Friendly. PREFERENTIAL FERRY RATES AVAILABLE - see below. Originally forming part of the historic Farringford Estate - the home of the famous poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson - the cottage nestles at the foot of the downs. It is located up a private lane in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within easy walking distance of Freshwater Bay, nearby shops, a superb cafe/bar and friendly pub

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Less than 2.5 miles from the historic centre of Winchester, this peaceful retreat is perfect for those looking to visit the city, or escape for some peace. Just a few minutes walk from the famous Clarendon Way, and a 30 minute walk to the city centre.

Tiny home-garden cabin near Freshwater Bay

The Bird Hide is ideal for singles or couples (max 2 people) interested in exploring the local area with its own garden and separate access. A comfortable king size bed, seating area and with it's own dining and inbuilt kitchen, it offers all you need for a short stay. It has a separate bathroom, as well as on outside decking area to catch the evening sun. The Bird Hide is 5 minutes walk from Freshwater Bay, even closer to footpaths to the Downs and the local village via the SSSI trail.

Rose Cottage is a 3 bed cottage (sleeps 5 plus infant) situated less than 5 mins walk from the stunning beach at Freshwater Bay. Close by is Tennyson Down with its stunning cliff top walks to The Needles as well as beautiful beaches at Totland & Colwell Bay. The cottage has an enclosed front and rear garden plus off street parking. Within short walking distance are Dimbola Tea Room, The Piano Cafe, Farringford House, The Albion, the bus bar and a visiting pizza van in the summer.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful getaway! A period Arts and Crafts bungalow with a sunny, fenced, garden overlooking Freshwater Bay. You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Enjoy a short stroll down to Freshwater Bay, continue further all the way to the Needles in one direction. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.
