This large family room has a double and two single beds, comfortably sleeping 4. There is a kitchenette with basic amenities, including olive oil and home-made rusks. It has air-conditioning, a microwave and fridge. There is free 10 mbps wi-fi. It is adjacent to a large sparkling swimming pool and isn't suitable for persons who are not water-smart. It has a private entrance & safe parking. Two large friendly dogs may be in attendance. A portable braai and free wood is available on request

NB THE AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. Our comfortable self-catering cottage is situated on a farm, 30km from Graaff-Reinet. The thick walls are great insulators and keep the cottage warm in winter and cool in summer. There are two bedrooms and two additional single beds in the living area. Braai facilities are available out on a deck which also provides incredible views over the Tandjiesberg mountains and a farm dam with roaming springbuck. It is truly a break-away location. The sunrises are an added treat for the early birds.

An outside shower with a view to the stars & Spandaukop gives you the perfect Karoo feeling.

Charming Heritage Cottage

This historic townhouse is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The private courtyard is ideal for a braai (barbecue), or a quiet coffee. The house is child-friendly, and pets are welcome too. A gun-safe is provided, ideal for hunters. The stove is gas, so cooking during load-shedding is never a problem! As with many Graaff-Reinet houses, there is ONLY ON-STREET PARKING. There is also no TV.
