Located in a private setting surrounded by quiet forest, you will feel isolated from the world, yet only a half mile away from Rt. 209. In 10 minutes you can be hiking around Lake Minnewaska or strolling through the quaint town of Stone Ridge. Fine Dining in New Paltz and shopping in Kingston are only 25 minutes away. All that or relax at the house and enjoy the chef's kitchen, vaulted ceilings, hot tub and firepit.

Little Minka - Japanese House in the Woods

Little Minka. A serene Japanese folk house nestled on 10 acres of private woodland and streams. Embracing the Wabi-Sabi, Little Minka is unique, handcrafted using Japanese traditional carpentry joinery methods. Soaring ceilings, shoji, and tatami complete the interior. Outside there's a fire pit, open cooking area. We have a wood fired hot tub available on request from March - November. We have Japanese bathroom products in partnership with sowakanyc that guests can experience.

Retreat to a beautiful cabin and get lost on two wooded acres. Reconnect with nature in your own way - hike around nearby Lake Minnewaska, or another of the dozens of incredible trails in the area. Explore infinity under a blanket of stars and share stories gathered around the firepit. When you’re called inside, grab a book and settle in by the fireplace. Then cook a meal in our well-equipped kitchen or on the grill, and enjoy it on the patio overlooking the property.

Amazing Hiking, Apple Picking, Scenic Golf Courses, Vineyards, Inness (4min. away), Minnewaska State Park, Historic Kingston, Hip Woodstock, and New Paltz are all easily accessible from this conveniently located gem on a private road in Accord directly off the 209. Comfortable for a large group yet cozy for a couple.

Accord Cabins by the river, great wifi!

We love these cabins and are happy to share this magical spot! The Big Cabin, located 15 feet from the water’s edge, will easily sleep six. The Little Cabin, 30 yards from the House with a water view and plenty of privacy, is perfect for a couple. Located on a secluded, non-thoroughfare road, it includes access to a private swimming hole and waterfall. Near the Shawangunk climbing mountain and hiking/cycling trails, Accord “downtown” and super chic Inness.

The Carriage House

The Carriage House is a cozy two bedroom 1850s guest house on a beautiful property 2hrs hours from NYC. Relax in the open dining room, enjoy cooking from the privacy of your well stocked kitchen, or take it outside to the grill, and soak in the magic of the Hudson Valley. Come enjoy our mountain retreat! This secluded 3000-square-foot craftsman home sits on 5.5 wooded acres set far off of a quiet road in Accord. There are three large bedrooms with queen beds (all brand new top-of-the-line memory foam) and a media room with a door that has a queen pull out couch. Additionally, there are two twin XL rollaway beds (also memory foam) for your use. All in all, the house comfortably sleeps 8.
