Nestled in the foothills of the Cairngorms, this unique house, build with solid Aberdeen granite with 18 douglas fir trusses, self built by the owner and completed in 2012.. the house sleeps up to 12 comfortably.. The house has every home comfort with a spacious family sitting area, kitchen and dining area. Lockdown allowed us to refurbish the lounge area and bedrooms. There are two newly refurbished en suite bathrooms, three new buffalo sofas in the lounge and a huge 85inch Sony smart TV.

The Hideaway, perfect retreat near the Cairngorms

The Hideaway nestles into the foothills of the Cairngorms Naional Park, built of traditional granite stone, hand built by the owner over a 4 year period, features 18 douglas fir truses providing an inspiring environment for guests with the open plan layout: the family room, kitchen and dining area. It is also handy for Westhill, Bucksburn, Stonehaven and only 6 miles from Aberdeen City. My house is next to the old Deeside railway line, perfect for walks, jogging or cycling. I have plenty off-road parking and a big garden to sit in. I am on the bus route into town or out to Deeside.
