Affordable, superb, ground floor, self catering holiday apartment in the beautiful village of Bothel, Cumbria. Offering one double bedroom, a cosy and modern lounge/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and everything you need for a holiday. It is a real home from home that also has good WIFI access, off street parking, wonderful private views overlooking open fields and is also dog friendly. Lakes cottage with stunning view & private hot tub

Welcome to Highside a delightful cottage set in a secluded location overlooking the tranquil village of Lorton. Dating back to 1695 (as engraved on the fireplace in the kitchen), the cottage retains many original features but has been sympathetically modernised. The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.

The Eden Hideaway - Luxury Pod

Stunning views and walks, looking straight over the River Eden onto the Lake District fells. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this newly built wooden pod provides a comfortable, warm and cosy stay for people looking for a countryside retreat to relax and unwind in. Situated on Castletown Estate you can walk out of the garden gate and straight onto the river side with access to walks not publicly available.

Woodside Cottage, Clarencefield

A secluded cottage set between the small village of Clarencefield and the surrounding woods. A wonderfully peaceful and welcoming get away to recharge and embrace the surrounding nature. The area acts a gateway to Dumfries and Galloway, the UK's last undiscovered region. The cottage dates back to the 1700s and has undergone an extensive modernisation to make it a cozy retreat for up to 4 people at anytime of the year.
