This house was very clean and welcoming. Autumn was a great host and answered my questions immediately. It is located near some great food options. Highly recommend.

Steve & Peggy's home in Matawa was neat, clean and uncluttered and easy to settle into. The three bedrooms are spacious, there's a larger central area open to the kitchen. Easy to park in the garage. A nice view of the river from the home. We didn't cook but the coffee pot was perfect! A short walk away is access to the Priest Rapids Recreation Area. There is a level trail along the river. We walked this both days we were there. Nice walk, birding opportunity and easy exercise. If you go north, the trail is paved. Going south the trail becomes gravel. Both directions are good. Communication was great, emails questions were answered promptly, and we had check in information a few days ahead. We left a pair of shoes, and Steve and Peggy have been great arranging a way for us to pick them up. Very kind and easily arranged. We would be happy to stay here again and recommend this listing. Best stay we have ever had. We slept here like it was home, quiet neighborhood surrounded by orchards, 10-15 minutes to most stores or restaurants you could want, we attended a concert in George about an hour away, was wonderful to get home somewhere close after, 10/10 for the stay, Cristina the host was responsive, helpful host we could ever dream of. Would definitely stay here again.
