Hornbill View Cottages A1

Contours of the mountains, the edges of the paddy fields; our cottage overlooks the most picturesque site in Kohima. We are situated at the highest point of Kigwema; right above Kisama Heritage Village. The first ray of the sun hits our cottage and reflects on the paddy fields. Our cottage is an immersive deep-forest getaway for urban travellers. Surrounded by 10 wooded acres, you'll find yourself sharing the sunset view with birds in the tree tops, gazing at the starlit skies.

The Nook - Cosy Homestay in North Kohima

‘The Nook’ is a silent escape away from the hustle and bustle of the town. It is surrounded by green hills, its peaceful environment offers a homely space with ultimate privacy for leisure, study or reading. It also offers tons of books for you to explore. Greenhouse (full floor)

We have two adjoining rooms with an attached dining area and a nice big terrace. You'll get a gorgeous view of the Dzouku valley and Japfü peak, Nagaland's second highest peak. On Sundays the hills come alive with music from churches across Kohima. It's a real treat for tourists. (so they tell me) it's a short steep downhill walk to my place but it's totally worth it! if you have trouble walking please let us know and we'll arrange a car.

You will enjoy the view of a beautifully spread mountains and cool mountain breeze.
