Army beach is a popular sunbathing spot, and one of the warmest and shallowest places to swim in the Yukon, which makes it great for kids. It is a bay with beige sand, surrounded by forest and scenic mountains. It is part of marsh lake and flows north into the iconic Yukon River. In April it is a good time to see migrating swans coming North.

It is nestled in the forest with trail access right out the front door. 12 km drive to town. 2.5 kms from local Winterlong Brewery and Landed Bakehouse coffee shop.
