This was a great find for us! We come to Yuba a couple of times a year but this is the first time we’ve stayed at Michael’s place and we would definitely stay again. It looks just like the photos and was perfectly clean and comfortable and beautiful. It was great for our dog as well. She got to play with one of their dogs and got used to sharing a yard with ducks! Michael also gave us a great recommendation for a place by the river to take our dog and walk (Feather River Parkway) it was perfect. We felt very comfortable and welcomed and recommend Michael’s place without reservation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was exactly as pictured and very comfortable. Our boys loved the upstairs room with the two twin beds (although if they were smaller I might have worried about them on the stairs, as there is no railing for the last several steps). We loved the cozy fireplace and the hot tub, and enjoyed not having to use our car at all once we arrived— plenty to see and do in walking distance, including a nice park for the dog and kids. Beautiful place, clean, fun decor, super clean, super cozy!

Spent a nice and relaxing girls weekend here. This stay is definitley somones home and not just an off the shelf air bnb stay. it had everything we needed and more, including a pre heated hot tub, robes, plush towels and some of the most comfortable beds!! We would most definatley stay here or at any of Ben's other listing's.

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

the little house was perfect for us and our dog. In town, but above the main hub. The house is as described. the charm of the "old bones", in the floor, doors, and simple decor, was a good fit. We enjoyed walking everywhere and taking our pup with us. A very dog friendly town.

We fell in love with this quiet little slice of peacefulness. The house feels secluded but we could still access Doordash and Instacart. The walk to the lake/waterfall is not accessible for the disabled and we weren't allowed to drive there. That was the only major disappointment.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! It's so quiet and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful trees. There are also nice hiking trails nearby! The hosts were super friendly. I was greeted when I got to their property, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had. The cabin was so quaint and comfortable! I recommend this place if you want a quiet getaway!

This is a beautiful place to stay and I would say better than expected. Everything was very clean, the furnishings were beautiful and relaxing... and there was fruit, scones and croissants waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. The bed and bedding was very comfortable upstairs with a cute kitchen and dinette downstairs. Bri met us at the door when we arrived to give us the key. My best friend and I travel together and enjoy trying out new places. I highly recommend staying here :)

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is clean and has nice accomodations and games for families. The host is very responsive and helpful as well.

Awesome recommend it bed is awesome super soft

This was our second visit. We love the setting, the view of the mountains and the place itself! The space is so open, light and very clean. The mini split and ceiling fan kept the bedroom very comfortable. Sleeping temperature was good for us and the unit was quiet! There is a fairly new kitchenette stocked with everything we needed for making coffee, tea and breakfast. You could cook dinner there too, if you want, but we chose to dine out. Merry is very friendly and accommodating. She checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed, as well as providing a list of trails and another for restaurants and entertainment options. We highly recommend Merry’s Garden Suite for anyone visiting Nevada City!

Peggy was a wonderful host. Great location, short walk to downtown and near to hiking trails. Fantastic private back yard to relax in. Very comfortable and clean unit and we appreciated the extra attention to detail and care that Peggy put into her place. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again. A lovely, quiet home in a peaceful, rural-agricultural neighborhood overflowing with historical Oroville vibes. Some other reviewers have commented their concern over the local homeless population and while we did see one such fellow, it wasn't an issue and didn't cause us to feel unsafe. The dogs loved the open space throughout the house and the fenced yard -- FYI, though: if you have a small dog that could squeeze through a 5"x5" square, the backyard fencing likely wouldn't meet your needs. The back porch with string lights is a nice space to spend the evening or in the morning with coffee. Love the early morning rooster sounds nearby that are only audible from outside the home! I also truly appreciated the abundance of cozy blankets for snuggling up with. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!
