We stayed at Siripakorn and Matt’s villa for a month and had an absolutely amazing time. The villa is located in a more authentic, less touristy part of Thailand which we really appreciated, and the views from every corner of the house are simply magical. Siripakorn and Matt were incredible hosts, warm, helpful, and always responsive. The internet is fast and stable throughout the villa, making it perfect for remote work. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable, with good A/C in every room. It’s also a perfect base for visiting the nearby islands, which are absolutely gorgeous and easy to reach. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would love to come back!

J’ai adoré mon séjour ici, la place est très mignonne et les gens qui nous ont accueilli nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous! La nourriture était très et l’organisation d’activités nous a été offer! Je recommande l’endroit pour un petit séjour tranquille!

Unser Aufenthalt war absolut fantastisch! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und genau wie auf den Fotos – wenn nicht sogar noch schöner. Der atemberaubende Ausblick und die vielen Tiere, die wir beobachten konnten, waren ein echtes Highlight. Besonders aufregend war der Besuch eines neugierigen Affen auf unserer Terrasse. Außerdem durften wir ohne zusätzliche Gebühr später auschecken – vielen Dank für diese unvergessliche Erfahrung!

Writing this review whilst laid on the deck overlooking the Andaman Sea! The Perch Villa is bliss. The Villa its self is so peaceful and just like the pictures, the plunge pool is also perfect to keep cool. Like the other reviews there is construction next door but it didn’t really bother us. Jan, the house manager, was simply wonderful and kindly arranged everything for us before we arrived at the villa - transfers, scooters, onward transfer, nothing was too much trouble and her warm welcome made us feel instantly at home. The Villa is a walk away from the village centre and a few local cafes, restaurants and bars. A short scooter ride opens up more possibilities around the island, especially deserted beaches! We loved our stay and wished we were able to stay longer!

Tout simplement magique. Le logement est encore plus beau en vrai. On aurait bien passé une nuit de plus. Il est bien placé, propre, au calme avec une belle terrasse avec vue. Rien à dire je vous le recommande.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is gorgeous. The pool incredible - we loved the outside space. The house has everything you need and more. Maria was always on hand for anything - she is a sweetheart. Her husband cleaned the pool every morning, merci Maria xx it’s a lovely short walk the beach, with a lovely little local shop close by for drinks/snacks etc.

Words cannot describe how incredible our stay was. Pete alone was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had! He was so responsive and had so many amazing recommendations, a true local guide. There was a slight plumping issue in our room and he upgraded us to the most breathtaking villa. Pete was very caring and attentive to our needs and made sure we were looked after properly. Nancy, the cleaner, was also the kindest soul and so helpful. I cannot recommend Pete’s airbnbs enough. Koh Lanta was so welcoming and we met so many special people. Das Wooda House in Old Town war für uns eines der Highlights der Reise durch Thailand. Wir fühlten uns sofort Zuhause, würden überaus herzlich und hilfsbereit in Empfang genommen und das Haus selbst wirkte beinahe magisch, authentisch und einfach wundervoll. Wir waren mitten im Leben des wunderbaren Old Town, genossen es den Fischern zu lauschen, wenn sie morgens auf das Meer hinaus führen, schliefen mit dem Rauschen der Wellen ein und freuten uns über das Kikeriki des Hahnes am Morgen. Beos landeten auf unserer Terrasse, was wunderschön war. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer ist einfach wunderschön und so friedlich. In der Unterkunft selbst finden sich eigens zusammengestellte Broschüren zu Ausflügen, Restaurants, Shopping und halfen uns jeden einzelnen Tag perfekt zu verbringen. Wir würden immer sofort unterstützt, zB beim Mieten von Rollern oder dem Organisieren von Unternehmungen. Die Erlebnisse waren einzigartig. Es ist ein ganz besonderer Ort, dieses Haus und Old Town.

We have had the most wonderful stay. the hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. The Villa is located at the top of a hill, so some level of fitness is required. This gave us fabulous views and peace and quiet. The hosts invited us to do a cooking workshop, which was really enjoyable, making thai coconut pudding. We will definitely return in the Future.
