Pottery Lodge - Relaxing 1BR Self-Contained Apt.

Take it easy at this stylish and tranquil getaway, located in the historic village of Stanley, a lovely 7-minute drive from Beechworth. Adjacent to the main residence, Pottery Lodge is the former pottery workshop of a renowned ceramicist. Lovingly re-styled into boutique accommodation, it features a large open plan living space, with two comfortable sitting areas, a wood fire, kitchen and pool table, as well as a seperate bedroom with queen bed. Come explore, eat, drink, ride or just relax.

Wee Varrich

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

Historic towns and villages such as Bright,Yackandandah, Beechworth, Chiltern, Milawa, Tangambalanga Tallangatta and Corryong are all within easy access. Rail trails for walking or cycling are nearby as is the Kiewa River and the Hume Weir for fishing and boating enthusiasts.

This cottage, named Alice Harding after the well known peony cultivar, is set amongst an established garden with oaks, Japanese maples, liquid ambers, claret ash and tulip trees. The setting provides a great place to relax and unwind whilst enjoying all that this area has to offer.

A two-level studio cottage in a gorgeous, cool climate garden: a perfect getaway for two. Beautifully refurbished. The cottage is self-contained and includes a queen bedroom opening to a private deck with barbecue overlooking our Open Gardens Victoria-listed garden. Downstairs is a sitting room, opening to a garden terrace, a separate kitchen with induction cooktop and bathroom. Beechworth, a historic, 19C, gold-era town, is 4km away.
