Wee Varrich

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

We provide a plush QS bed, well-stocked kitchenette, recliner chairs and dining/work nook, with NO ShortStay Levy added to your costs. An Oasis Room & heated magnesium pool offers relaxation & skin care without the worry of sunburn/bugs. Your luxury suite is located at the front of our home with 2-3 days of breakfast provisions, snacks & fruit, a baked treat & beverage choices.

Farm stay, private guest room & lounge

If you want a comfortable, clean and private place to rest your head after checking out all the Victorian High Country has to offer, then this is the place for you! The guest space is within a family farm house but completely private with a separate entrance. We’re on a 55 acre farm near Mt Pilot, surrounded by National Park, mountain tracks and beautiful views. On offer is a double room with large ensuite, large lounge area with a sofa bed, private entrance + parking at the front.

A two-level studio cottage in a gorgeous, cool climate garden: a perfect getaway for two. Beautifully refurbished. The cottage is self-contained and includes a queen bedroom opening to a private deck with barbecue overlooking our Open Gardens Victoria-listed garden. Downstairs is a sitting room, opening to a garden terrace, a separate kitchen with induction cooktop and bathroom. Beechworth, a historic, 19C, gold-era town, is 4km away.
