It was private and beautiful.Interior clean and basics provided. Working fireplace and tv would only allow access to Netflix or Amazon prime. Shower was huge with great water pressure and hot water lasted.Recommend installing grab bars for those with balance issues.Balcony was great with rocking chair and beautiful scenery. Hot tub was clean,working jets,and water was hot.The bed was a bit hard for us(back issues),but manageable.Couch & chair in living room comfortable.Bring your coffee for drip maker & seasonings.Beautiful setting.Prepare yourself for the road going up the mountain.A lot of pot holes,mud,& loose gravel.We did fine in an explorer 2WD,but definitely don’t bring a car because this cabin is way up there. Fire pit and grill as well. Couldn’t go hiking or use fire pit or grill due to it raining all weekend. But this place is definitely worth a trip. Gorgeous out there. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

A change in plans led us to go out of town for Thanksgiving this year. We were looking for a homey place to celebrate and relax, and loved the proximity of this airbnb to Red River Gorge. It was private and beautiful, and was even nicer than the photos made it look. There was plenty of room, a stocked kitchen (pots and pans and basic spices: salt and pepper etc) that made cooking a simple Thanksgiving dinner easy. We loved the open kitchen/living room space so that we could spend time with family while watching football and cooking. I even took a kayak out on Thanksgiving morning! It was a little chilly while we were there, but imagine the deck and pond would be incredible with warmer temperatures. There were tons of towels, blankets, shower items and a hairdryer. The appliances all worked great. We did a lot of hiking while in the area and Wyatt & Savannah's place was an amazing retreat.

Found this last minute and could not be happier with our choice. Perfectly clean and neat, brand new appliances, clean hot tub, great back deck...just loved it. We visited local restaurants (some, a tradition...like Miguel's and Rock House, and a couple of new ones), did a boat tour at the Gorge Underground, did some adventuring, and soaked in the hot tub as much as possible! We brought our best boy, and he loved it too! Thanks for a great stay!

Jordan’s house was a wonderful weekend getaway! Space for our family of 5 and our two dogs. Easy to get to all the adventures found in Red River Gorge and a peaceful retreat to come home to when we were finished with our activities. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy fun spot.

Our family had a great time celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was great and close to red river gorge attractions. Sadly the cold weather caused the goats to be moved to their winter home. Sorry to miss the goat fun. Tracy was great to work with from the planning phase and through our stay.

We had a great time at Sonya’s place! It’s a cute little cabin just off to the side of her own house. She has 5 dogs that roam the property and we loved seeing them every day. They were such sweethearts. Sonya was very sweet, letting us use the pool/hot tub that’s just behind her house on the deck, as well as her fire pit. The overall experience was great! Would go back in a heartbeat l.

Staying at the cabin was amazing! It was easy to find, super clean, and had plenty of space for all of us. The fire pit was a highlight—we had so much fun hanging out and making memories together. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable trip!

We spent a portion of Spring Break in KY with plans to spend time in Red River Gorge, visit KY Horse Park and the Ark. Stanton was a great location to easily drive to and from all places. This home met our needs as a family, and had everything we needed. The pool was also a nice perk for the kids to burn off energy - ha! Benjamin was easy peasy and everything was just as he said. I would recommend! Of note, there’s a Kroger and Walgreens around the corner, as well as a Little Caesars pizza and McDonalds. We are super low maintenance people so this was very convenient for us, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a fancy town with a lot of commercial restaurants then this ain’t it. I live in a small town so I appreciated this home’s location. Just my speed! Thanks so much - we had a great time!

My sister and I stayed at Sonya’s Airbnb to go to the crystal kayak tour. Sonya very friendly we fell in love with her , her place is by far one of the best Airbnb’s that I have stayed at. Sonya’s dogs would greet us in the morning or whenever we can to the hot tub and pool. The view landscape everything was amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Super cute house, with lots of fun activities to do. Really enjoyed our time together.

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool and being able to share meals together and the close proximity to trails.

The cabin was very clean and was an awesome stay overall. The host was also super responsive. The only issue we encountered was the lock on the front door was missing and the automatic lock function was broken. However, the host was very quick with responding back about this and seemed to be working on the problem.

We spent our first couple nights at Tristan's cozy cabin in the RRG. We got a few hikes in with the pup. We absolutely loved the area! It was a peaceful trip and will be returning again.

Our stay was without question, fantastic. The host was more than accommodating and checked in on us often. We would definitely come back!

We had a great time at this stay! Everything was very clean and the view was beautiful! The only issue we had were wasps on the back deck when we arrived. The host was quick to respond when we messaged about it and sent someone out within an hour to spray for them.

Kenny is one of the VERY BEST hosts I've had the pleasure of communicating with. He was extremely responsive + incredibly proactive. Lonesome Dove is the most spectacular place I've stayed in the RRG. The only real negative is being able to get there. Kenny gave us wonderfully detailed directions (we still got lost on a few turns) and to absolutely no fault of his, the roads are just treacherous. I have a newer AWD SUV and I made it but there were many times I truly thought I was going to get hung up (no cell service to call a tow truck) BUT I came out unscathed. A utility 4WD is my opinion, totally necessary. Once you arrive you are met by the darling cabin and the breathtaking views - a haven like none other. All -in-all this is a gem of a dwelling in every way!

We had a fantastic stay at this secluded cabin! It was cozy and comfortable, especially with the fireplace, and provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The location was great—just a 30-minute drive to everything the Gorge has to offer! We loved fishing at the pond during the day and ending each night by the fire. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was by far the most scenic, private, and peaceful air bnb cabin I have stayed in. The views from inside (and from the hot tub) are stunning and you won’t be seeing anyone else while there. We also had plenty of outdoor space around the cabin to walk the dog and explore. I appreciated the finishing touches: a nice vinyl collection and record player, books about the area, board games, plenty of tea and coffee options, and real paintings on the walls. As someone who usually tent camps at RRG, this was a real treat.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We loved coming back here after a long day of adventuring. The hot tub, fusebsll, and Pac-Man game were great for my boys, as was the fire pit. The house was very clean and comfortable for our group of 11. We didn’t do much cooking but the kitchen was well stocked. The area is beautiful and we hope to come back someday!
