The Birdnest

Relax & unwind at this unique and tranquil getaway. It's all about the views, cosy atmosphere, serenity & proximity to Dungog services. With a wrap-around balcony on two sides, the view from both inside & outside takes in glimpses of Barrington Tops National Park to the north, expansive views of surrounding farms, valleys & hills to the east & south, and the township of Dungog below. The native birds at dusk are a delight. "The Birdnest" is ideal for up to 2 couples, or a family of 4 (or 5?).

Our historic Cottage has stood graciously on the banks of the Barrington River since the 1880s. Scenic countryside is at your doorstep: enjoy a rambling walk and splash in the river. In winter, rekindle by the slow combustion fire, and let your soul unwind. Take in the tranquil scenery, with beauty that captivates as the seasons change. Only a 10 minute drive to Gloucester, you’ll be close enough to anything you might need during your stay. Welcome, we hope you’ll enjoy this gentle friend.

Tugwood Cottage

Gorgeous 2 bedroom cottage set in a vineyard with beautiful park like grounds and panoramic views. Set on 250 acres, there is plenty of room to explore. Unwind and relax - entertain on the patio overlooking the vines, take a dip in the plunge pool and enjoy the peaceful countryside while only 10 minutes from Gloucester village. Wine tasting available when the owner is onsite. Note guests are not permitted to participate in film or photography that is intended for commercial use or profit.

It provides a secluded and quiet stay for families or small groups of 6 to get away from it all in comfort and luxury. Beautifully furnished with restored and vintage furniture and a carefully curated selection of artwork and treasures. For the winter months there is a cosy wood burning heater and an outdoor fire pit .

‘Wylah Place’ is a one acre property located halfway between Port Macquarie and Taree and is just 5 mins drive off the Pacific Highway (M1). It is a great place for an overnight pit stop or as a base to explore all the Midcoast has to offer. The property sits at the foot of South Brother, looks out onto Middle brother and is surrounded by cattle farms. It is very scenic and relaxing, while still being close by to activities and plenty of places to explore.
