Oak Hill Retreat is located just outside Decorah. It is minutes away from the world famous Toppling Goliath Brewery. But there is SO much more to explore in Decorah! Did you know we have 3 waterfalls? This house is the definition of eclectic cozy. I have spent the last 4 years finding the right mix of color and light to give this space its unique personality. Staying here gives you the peace and quiet of the country but you are just minutes from town. Each bedroom has its own private bath.

This is the perfect place for a family of four to six, couples enjoying Decorah’s outdoor recreation, and guests looking for clean and bright lodging while visiting students at Luther and Decorah’s breweries. #3 LADYBUG LANE is Dog Friendly! The house is just far enough off the main streets for you to enjoy a quiet stay, and close enough to easily access everything Decorah has to offer.

The Night Deposit

Deposit yourself! Bank built in 1917, just 10 minutes on blacktop from Toppling Goliath Brewery. Located in Frankville Iowa and just a few miles up the hill from the Yellow River. Queen bed in one bedroom, and a futon in the main space. Full kitchen stocked with pancake mix, sausages, and everything you need for them. City Park is four blocks away or Nintendo 64 and board games for rainy days. Also feel free to play whatever music you find, just return it. Large backyard and hammock.

Bear Creek Cottage, Decorah, Ia (Highlandville)

Nestled in Northeast Iowa's Driftless Region approximately 14 miles northeast of Decorah, you will find this fully stocked, ready to use 3 bed home. Walking distance to Bear Creek, the top stocked trout fishing stream in the area and also Highlandville General Store. Firewood is available for purchase. Covered carport parking, up to 2 cars. Cell services is very limited and WiFi can have weak rural signal from time to time - here's your opportunity to go off grid and unwind!!!

The "Shouse"-fun & relaxation in the country

Take the road less traveled and wind down a peaceful mile long gravel driveway to find our fun and relaxing industrial "Shouse!" The "Shouse" is built next to our main home on 36 acres of quiet country rolling hills near Ossian, Iowa. We are about 20 minutes from Decorah, Iowa. If you are willing to take the road less traveled you will find a fun, rustic, industrial piece of paradise tucked away in the rolling hills of the driftless area!

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

Backwater Studio Downtown Decorah

Welcome to Decorah's Backwater Studio, a completely remodeled, eclectic studio apartment in the heart of downtown Decorah. This modern apartment space features an industrial chic theme with capacity to sleep four (two queen beds) and includes fully stocked open concept kitchen, Wi-Fi, off street parking, full bathroom and more!

Buffalo Lodge

Enjoy a nice quite place with a pond and wildlife to watch. Enjoy coffee or drinks on the porch overlooking the pond. Minutes from Decorah where there is a bike trail and trout stream. Has outdoor fire pit. Firewood included. Enjoy paddle boating and kayaking on the pond. 1 paddle boat and 2 kayaks are included in your stay.
