Leyden's Cottage

Period mud brick cottage originally built sometime before or around 1900 with family history stretching back five generations and the gold rush. It is set on a property of nearly 30 acres with abundant wildlife and scenery. It is located approximately 5-6 kms from the township of Avoca Victoria and it is within walking distance of a couple of local wineries and the Percydale historic area. It is isolated from any close neighbours and you do not have to share facilities with any other guests.

Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & a wide assortment of birdlife. 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. EV Car charger. Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

The Blue Wren Lodge

Beautiful architectural designed accommodation especially built for couples. The Blue Wren Lodge has been a favourite for years and we are very proud of our special accommodation. The Lodge is fully self contained with a full size kitchen with dish washer and laundry with washing machine and dryer. The rear entertaining deck, with BBQ and retractable shade awning, faces north with views of Grampians landmarks Boronia Peak and The Pinnacle. The house is in an bushland setting with regular wildlife visitors. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 2 with single beds, and sleeps 8 in comfort. All linen and towels are provided.

Three large bedrooms include a king bed in one room, queen in another and two bunks in the last.
