You can enjoy a cup of coffee and the sunrise over the water from the deck overlooking a 20 foot bluff. A venture out on the point gives you an unbelievable sunset and fishing opportunity. The deck is great for grilling while watching the fishing boats come back into landing after a day on the water. Could be a great hunting/fishing base camp or private getaway.

We have everything you need to get away! There are two state parks within a mile and the new Miller's Ferry Marina is now open!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Clean, simple waterfront camp on Lake Dannelly in Wilcox County, AL. Recently remodeled, with community boat launch, boat parking with charging access, central A/C, and a large back porch for grilling and relaxing. Boat dockage is good, with average 6' plus water depth at the end of pier, and Fishing Kayaks are onsite for your paddling pleasure. Come enjoy one of the best views on Lake Dannelly!

The 4 bedroom, 3 full baths is great for a large family or 2 families vacationing together since two bedrooms have a private bath & all bedrooms have a smart TV. The outdoor space is great to soak in all waterfront living has to offer with plenty of seating, grill & firepit.

Dark Sky Field

I found Murchison Farm when doing a search for dark sky areas for telescope viewing, and this spot did not disappoint. Very low light pollution (Bortle Scale 2 based on the dark sky map I use), and the field I was in had a very big sky/low horizon- which is what I was hoping for. I was only able to stay one night and had some clouds form late, but had some great views including the NEOWISE comet.
