Sip your coffee while watching Miishoomis Giizis (Grandfather Sun), rise to the East…or sip on a glass of Vino by the LAKE as Nookamis Giizis (Grandmother Moon) reflects her rays on the glass like surface. Old growth trees on property have been maintained so guests should be able to navigate difficult and uneven terrain. 2 bedrooms with 12+ Foot Ceilings, 1 room with Queen, 2nd with Double bed. 🙂

Off-The-Grid, "The Barn" at Avalon Eco Resort

Your stay includes a Killarney Provincial Park pass, access to canoes and kayaks, plus firewood. So, come spend a day or two away from the noise of everyday life and discover what Killarney has to offer. A few, maybe, helpful notes: Our cabins are probably not HGTV approved. The barn is near shared amenities and footpaths. We provide pillows, bed linens, and a quilt blanket. We have five centrally located restrooms. While the setting is peaceful, some highway and marina noise may be heard.

Yacht in Tobermory

NEW FOR 2025, the Yacht has Air Conditioning! A vintage private 30 foot Cruiser with a teak & mahogany wood trimmed cabin. Cabin height is 6 ft. Children 3 yrs & older Two berths sleep 2 each. Full galley. Linens and towels provided. It is disinfected before your arrival. Extra person $50/day agreed prior. Centre bed $50 for stay. This accommodation is for the boat at the dock only. It does not include driving the boat or use of the cottage property. The boat is a non smoking.

COUNTRY CABIN

This all repurposed bunkie is in a picturesque setting on Manitoulin island. It has a large deck to enjoy the day . 230sq ft living space inside. It offers a queen size bed for our guest to find comfort and rest , along with a futon ; this cabin has a wonderful rustic feel. The cabin is framed with a beautiful wood finish with select antiques as decorations. This humble cabin has solar lights, bar fridge, power bar to charge devices. The washroom is a compostable outhouse. We have fire wood.

Built in 2018, our off-grid cedar cabin is tucked away in a mixed woodland on beautiful Manitoulin Island. It is uniquely decorated with antiques, thrift store finds and handicrafts collected from our travels around the world as far as Africa, Japan, Costa Rica and Canada’s Arctic.
