Welcome to the Big House Getaway! Bring the whole family or your large group to this spacious getaway home with plenty of room for fun, games or quiet relaxation. Our space includes multiple entertainment rooms, pool table, pinball machine, fireplace, a large driveway that can fit multiple vehicles & trailers as well as a back patio with a large yard. We are just steps from the beach; the perfect place to start a day of outdoor adventure or relax to the sound of beach waves heard on the patio.

Welcome to Sea Glass Cottage!

TWO MINUTE WALK to the beach. After purchasing this lake home in 2024 we carefully renovated it. The kitchen, dining room and living room (with wood-burning fireplace) are open-concept. A large 3-season sunroom spans the front of the house. Each bedroom has fresh linens, down comforters and electric heat control. The back yard is private, well-treed and fully fenced, with a firepit. Sandy beaches, miles of walking trails and in winter, ice fishing. Our beach town is a perfect vacation spot!

Minnewanka

Relax in a cozy, beach-inspired cottage, only a couple blocks from downtown, the boardwalk and beach. The cottage comfortably sleeps 4 adults, with a queen-size bedroom and queen-size trundle bed in the living room. During the summer, the guest cottage also sleeps two guests (unless extreme temperatures). Enjoy relaxing in a screened gazebo, bbq dining on the large sunny deck, or enjoying an evening around the firepit. The cottage is wifi-enabled with Roku TV, a full kitchen and linens.

Our spacious cottage with accessibility features sleeps up to eight people, is the perfect place for rest and recreation. Situated in the Village of Dunnottar (which includes Ponemah, Matlock & Whytewold), this completely restored home is just a five-minute walk from Lake Winnipeg and famous Dunnottar Piers. Explore the local shops of Gimli, Winnipeg Beach and Matlock, just a short drive away. Or enjoy outdoor activities from fishing and boating to hiking and biking through nearby trails.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space! Enjoy a glass of spirits by a fire in the back yard. Dine under the umbrella on our spacious deck (BBQ included) Want to enjoy the Matlock beach...it's just a hop, skip and jump away! You can choose to sit in front of the gas fireplace or in the sunroom on a rainy evening We offer two bedrooms each with a double bed. 1 full bathroom kitchen is equipped with adequate cutlery, dinnerware, pots and pans, corkscrew, air fryer and blender.

This charming timber-frame beach house offers a cozy, escape just a 1-minute walk to lake and sandy beach. It features a quaint living area, two loft-style bedrooms accessed by ship’s ladders, a full bathroom, and a convenient kitchenette—perfect for relaxed, easy stays. Step outside and you’re right beside a beautiful 10-acre provincial park, boardwalk, dog-friendly beach, tennis courts, playground, and open green space. This is a place to slow down, recharge and feel at home.

Bright & spacious home perfect for families or larger groups! This 2000 square foot home situated on a double lot offers expansive space for entertaining both inside and out! There is parking for up to 5 vehicles on the property. Well behaved dogs allowed, $50 pet fee per stay Minimum 4-night rental during July-August and Jan-March. Unique vintage cabin vibe with updated amenities and ample parking to accommodate 2 trucks with 16' trailers and another vehicle with power plug in a Have a coffee while enjoying the fireplace while streaming your favourite movie on a chilly winter morning. washer and dryer available 2 bedrooms but can sleep 6 with the big comfy couch and futon. 3 season room with futon for additional sleeping in summer linens and towels included bring your food and move in.

West Shore Retreat

Come and enjoy summer activities in the Village of Dunnottar with three public beaches: Bowling Green Park; Tugela Creek Park; and Milne Park where you will find the community’s iconic piers. These wooden structures, bring swimmers out to deeper waters and in the evenings are a gathering spot to watch the stars from. On Gimli Road you will find the popular artesian well. Matlock General store is a 5 minute drive away for minnows, tackle and basic groceries.
